  19. This is 100-percent speculation so take it with a pinch of salt but from what we've seen to learn.

    The Arlecchino we all know and simp for doesn't seem to be as bad as initial impressions may have given.

    1) It seems that that Arlecchino title is passed down which means our Arlecchino wasn't the one who founded the orphanage she's just the one who most recently took over.

    2) Based on the fact that Lyney states that he would be the next in line to take over this means it's extremely likely that our Arlecchino was actually an orphan in the house of hearth.

    3) Based on another line about her it seems that she doesn't approve of the thought process of the house of hearth. This makes a lot more sense when you consider she most likely grow up with it and probably saw the negative repercussions.

    4) Since she seems to be trying to dissuade people from following the old thought process and actually caring about themselves as individuals. ( she is clearly acting against the interests of the fatui)

    Well I don't think she's 100-percent a precious bean I could definitely see them going the whole she's trying to take it down from the Inside route even if she has to do some bad stuff in the process.

  28. Could it be that Lyney and Lynette are spies sent back to Fontaine by Arlecchino much like Gendou Ringo before the Shumatsubahn Gaiden quests? In that case, they'll have a hell of an internal conflict in the main missions.

  29. Now i'm interested, if i remember correctly in italian commedia dell'arte the name Sandrone is use to represent three peoples Sandrone (the father) , his wife and his son who gets introduced later on, a family.
    Considering the fact that Lynnette act similar to Katherine this seems pretty sus.

    Btw if you didn't know, Fatui Harbingers code name is based on italian commedia dell'arte for example

    Pierro the sad clown
    il Dottore the doctor
    Columbina the damsel
    Scaramouche the little skirmisher
    Arlecchino (or Harlequin) the servant
    And Etc…

  30. For those who wondering why Arlecchino is called "Father" it's just a title that indicates that she is in charge of the House. Through the history and through other media (anime included) there are a lot of examples of females receiving such titles as a form of indicating power like Hatshepsut the female Pharaoh (irl) or Sir Integra Hellsing (anime). Long story short, it's not about the gender it's about power.
