Moga i really like your videos, i always listen to you on the background whilst I’m playing genshin myself, so I’m really saying this from a place of love when i say that you should give al haitham (or just haitham) the respect of pronouncing his name fully. I get that he’s maybe a video game character, but there are real life ppl with the name haitham. I really don’t mean to be nitpicky, and you don’t even need to pronounce his name like the locals do it, having an accent when pronouncing foreign words and names is fine. It’s just that these people with these ‘complicated’ names deserve the respect of having their names said fully too.

    Also as someone from a culture where islam is the main religion with a lot of influences from the arab world, you can just call him haitham. ‘al’ just means ‘the’ or ‘son of’. Haitham is pronounced as ‘hey’ ‘tham’ in my region.

    Again i really do mean to say this with a lot of love and appreciation as your fan.

  11. i also got very lucky with 4 stars, I got four 4 stars right after each other 😭 anyways, no alhaitham for me..instead got c4 Jean but it’s alright I didn’t really want him now I can save for yelan!!

  12. Managed to snag myself a c0 alhaitham, a yaoyao, yunjin from c4 to c6 and a r1 copy of the light sword with 24k primo's with still having primo's left.

    …unfortunately those sand grease things that he needs are as scarce and spread out as the scarabs and just as timegated…

  13. do you not read your comments or what? you’re my favorite genshin cc but this is the third video of you pronouncing (and spelling) an arabic name wrong, making mistakes is completely fine but refusing to learn and apologizing is not.

    alt is not a proper nickname, i’ve seen your 3.4 livestream video and you did not make any effort to try and pronounce his name right, abbreviating cultural names is a micro-aggression even if you did not mean it.

    you can call him haitham, it’s easier than alhaitham and not disrespectful as “alt” (seriously what the hell is alt where did it come from).

  16. Bro what is it with white people pretending to be ‘quirky’ and ‘funny’ and refusing to learn ethnic names and their pronunciation, or simply deciding to call them something else? At least do the bare minimum and learn to pronounce someone’s name, it’s not that hard.

  21. my plan was to do 10 pulls on al haitham banner because i don‘t reaaally want him but you know.. if i get something within a ten pull that‘s always a win.
    was on four pity after wanderer and my first pull was yaoyao i‘m so happy 🥰 she‘s so cute and kind of fun to play.

    edit: i just noticed al haitham is quite dependant on charged attacks just like keqing. yaoyao passive restores stamina if i remember correctly so she‘s basically al haithams dedicated support with her also being dendro 😅

  24. Hey can you please stop calling Alhaitham “Alt” ? You’re my favourite genshin creator but come on man in your livestream you didnt even try with his name … just call him Haitham. Hay-tham. Where did “Alt” come from ? I know it looks hard to pronounce but his name isnt as difficult as you think it is
