  1. I’m so happy to watch you take the time to explore Inazuma. When I started playing the game last year, I unfortunately got frustrated by Inazumas puzzles and the new mechanics introduced and went through the archon quest as fast as I could without doing much exploration or world quests at all. I later on have come to regret that and wish I let myself enjoy the region. I’m happy to see you see and experience inazumas full potential

  2. 1:51:37 If you ever do feel like you want an expedition item in Inazuma, one of your characters can increase the reward from Inazuma expeditions by 25%.
Unfortunately, there are none of those in Mondstat 😥 (though there are a couple that reduce expedition time)

  3. I’m an exploration lover too. I always take my time and never use guides, I just love naturally uncovering everything bit by bit. For me, I’d be perfectly happy if you didn’t start the archon quest for a month 😂

  4. The music and all the scenery in Inazuma are so good!!! To me, this nation was really a turning point that completely changed my enjoyment of the game. I feel like Inazuma and later nations are so much better than Mondstadt and Liyue in pretty much every regard (quests, exploration, music, story). Not that Mondstadt and Liyue weren't great, but Inazuma feels like a whole other level to me!
So, as always, keep your pace and don't rush, just enjoy what this nation has to offer!

Also, you figured out how to solve those puzzles really easily, I was impressed. I took a way longer time to understand some of those lol

Regarding the current events going on: the one with Itto has some story spoilers, many characters that you haven't met yet, and it takes place in a location you haven't visited yet. The minigames there were really fun, but I think it would be too spoilery for you to go through the story portion of this event.

However, there's the Windtracer event in Mondstadt that has no spoilers in it. There is really no story there, it's just a fun co-op game. I know you mentioned you don't really enjoy doing co-op stuff, but you don't even have to chat with people there. The game automatically groups you with other players, gives you a certain role and you play that role in the game. And you get rewards even if you lose, so there's no pressure to win. I'm not much a fan of co-op either, but this minigame is REALLY fun to me! I definitely think you should try!

  5. I'm all for explore at your own pace.. especially in a new region.. extremly understandable.. anyone would .. whatever play the game how you like it but you could have atleast completed act 1 of inazuma?? at least for continuity sake if you started the main quest at least make the effort to complete the act.. exploring is fun I know but it could have also just been part of the last hour of a 2 hour playthrough after completing act 1… tbh i find it odd you would start world quest first and not complete the on going main quest which you left halfway through last episode. But whatever.

  6. Haven’t really commented on your videos before but I felt the need to just let you know how much I LOVE this series! Found your channel from when you were still in the beginning of Mondstatd, and have stuck around since. Makes great background sound as I draw, and it always makes me happy to see another upload 😄 don’t feel bad about not rushing things, if anything that’s why I love it watching!!

  7. The quest you picked up from Katheryne involving Seirai Island is actually a 2.1 quest, but it isn't really gonna spoil anything important for the Archon Quest so you can do it if you feel like it without worry.

  8. Open me! There's a link to a song you requested in here! 😄

18:00 just so you know, the majority of the main characters in the upcoming event are people who will not be showing up for the Archon Quest. the people in the opening quest are all (Heizou, Shinobu, and Itto) characters you'd have to meet through their Story Quests/Hangouts, or are NPCs you wouldn't have had the chance to meet previously because they are Event-specific NPCs (Dvorak). if you want to just enjoy the Event Gameplay (Rhythm Games a la Persona Dancing) and skip through the dialogue sections like you did with Lantern Rite, i absolutely don't think anyone would hold it against you, and since you mentioned you love the dancing games in the community video this month, i think you'd love being able to play through some of Genshin's fantastic OST!

my only warning would be, to avoid seeing characters that DO show up during the archon quest, and therefore spoiling yourself on designs, DO NOT complete the 'To-Do' list. this is pretty easy to avoid, as some of the items on the to-do list are things like 'take pictures of x y and z', which isn't an easy thing to do accidentally, haha. as long as you don't finish that list, you won't unlock the final cutscene, which is what would end up spoiling characters and story for you.

by the way, this event contains all of the songs they featured in previous rhythm events, too, and i've gone through and made beat-by-beat recreations of the old songs, since they didn't actually provide those in game. if you decide you're interested in playing them, please let me know via Patreon, and i can send the codes to load them over to you 😀

55:30 sorry, this totally threw me off guard so i have to ask to clear up my own confusion, lol. is there another game you've played where regular enemy types are called 'Shogun'?

the kind of enemy you fought here is called a ghostly version of the 'Kairagi' enemy type that you'll see all over, they're essentially deserters of the Shogun's army. just wanted to clear that up to avoid future confusion! you really don't want to consider these enemies on the same level, combat-wise, as The Raiden Shogun. you'll be sincerely underestimating the Electro Archon's power 🤭

The name of the song you asked for (started at 1:36:30, requested at 1:36:58) is 'Flickering Sakura'! https://youtu.be/zbeDsQ3qLSI

1:46:00 now i'm wondering who Roamer thinks he was referring to when talking about Ryuunosuke's daughter…

i'm so glad you've fallen so in love with inazuma so far! just as a heads up, the world quests start getting long here, much longer than the small momentary sidequests you experienced in Liyue and Mondstadt. they're also chock-full of excellent history and lore, and are full of emotions of their own. so don't be surprised when they take you longer than you might expect!

  9. I remember the nightmare that was Inazuma when I stepped foot in that cursed archipelago. I was attacked by everything. The bums, thieves and even the weather! Honestly I was so ecstatic when Sumeru finally dropped. Sayonara you fudging terror islands!

  10. Inazuma is immense underground… Hope you'll find that mysterious place soon. Oh, the other islands are insane, took lots of days to finish the Archon Quests and world quests are so much more intriguing. Still have some exploring to do in Inazuma but now I want to 100% explore Mondstadt and Liyue. Have a nice exploring time in Inazuma 😊

  11. I, for one, am actually so glad you're focusing on world quests. Genshin has such deep and well thought out lore, but a lot of people don't even realize it fully because they ignore the side quests, the books, the character stories, and it's so cool to watch someone fall in love with the world the same way I did! And the world quests keep getting better with each region. There's a chain of world quests in Sumeru that takes, like, 10 hours to complete, and most people said it was boring and too long, but for me it's peak Genshin, some of my best memories in this game.

  12. I don't know if you knew already but I will still said it… to farm the sakura bloom you need to use an electro attack on those pink smoke. plus Inazuma started the underground area (albeit in a smaller way) so if you can't find the electroculus it's either in the sky far far far up or it is located underground.

  13. i just have to let you know, inazuma has my all time favorite ost in the game, it’s so great!! i’m looking forward to your experience exploring and doing the quests! have fun 😊

  14. Hey calvin i’d really appreciate it if you played the archon quest more, and i know its annoying everyone saying this but i really want to see your reaction to the story. And of course you can balance the exploration and other stuff for example, two exploration/story quests videos, and then two archon quest videos. It’s just that exploration (for me atleast) is a secondary thing in the game, it’s not that i don’t like it it’s just that it’s not as entertaining as the archon quest. And it’s absolutely fine if you don’t wanna play the game that way, it’s your experience and i feel bad even asking you to play the game in a certain way, thank you for taking time out of your day to make those silly videos🫶🏼 they mean alot to all of us viewers
