  1. “Functionally speaking, Fischl is superior to Yae” does not = “Fischl is better than Yae”. It means that functionally (setup, team building, rotations) Fischl is easier to work with than Yae. Please watch the entire section.

the calculation at 1:43 assumed an EM sands for BOTH comparisons, and a more accurate comparison would have technically been using an ATK sands on the non-aggravate comparison, however since she still scales with EM, the performance disparity will still end up around 30-35%

  2. Kuki is a really bad example to use as a character who "isnt good" in agravate teams. she is a very strong elelctro support and her burst and skill are persfect for dendro teams

  3. I literally just need a character that does a ton of damage. My only main dps char that I have is Xiao who does his job splendidly but it makes every second floor of the abyss a nightmare since I have no damage besides supports. I'm definitely pulling for both Childe and Yae, I'm gonna try going for her weapon but I won't be too mad if I loose.

also I am a yae simp so…. big damage and pretty lady what else can I say

  4. The reason why i like yae more than fischl is that its easy to keep her electro application up for the short skill cool down.

yes fischl has near permanent uptime and now that i have c6 i dont have to worry about this as much but I occasionally get trigger happy and then activate fischl burst immediately/to early after her skill resulting in some unwanted weird clunky swapping when setting up my off field damage sources as her skill/burst isnt up. I also just have i little more fun cause i can still button spam something that causes big dmg numbers while everyone else’s skill is on cooldown as everyone’s basic attacks except kokomi with her burst does like 500-3000 dmg at most lolol

I usually run a tazer team (Kokomi main dps, Yae subdps, fischl support/subdps, & kazuha) occasionally hyper bloom (same team but lumine instead of fischl) and i honestly prefer yae’s cool downs to fischl’s as i can usually have a guarantee to have some sort of electro up before using kokomi’s burst (i use the full duration) even if its just one turret.

of course tho fischl’s c6 is perfect for tazer kokomi as she pretty much becomes electro xingqiu and does more dmg than yae

But i dont really have to choose cause its best using them together for 30 damage ticks on screen every second. the only exception to this is bosses forces u to use another element like the new dorito robot in the current spiral that kinda forces me to use dendro to get a better clear time to break it out of its invisible and practically invincible cloaked state (it takes up like 15-30 seconds if you dont break it out of cloaking)

I will be pulling for layla on yae’s banner but would rather save pity for the supposed raiden rerun (i skipped her twice first for kokomi then kokomi’s weapon as you can see i am a dedicated Kokomi main and could care less about the meta [but i enjoy watching theory crafters as well as getting my brain working with figuring out game mechanics and making my dmg as high as possible as im not smart enough to do that elsewhere 😂]) i wont be upset if i get a yae constellation

  5. Yae will never be worth for me if she stays as cluncky as she is (and I have her, because was stupid enough to pull her day 1 of her release)
So I will never suggest to anyone to get her

  6. Y'all are insane if you think Yae wasn't already broken, shee was just super high investment from the start. I got realllly lucky with her arti and weapon and has been a godess ever since.

  7. For Hyperbloom, Yae is a good trigger for it not because she can target them because she’ll only target them when no enemies are present, but because her turrets have a small AOE that are pretty easily able to hit the seeds huge hitbox! Grouping helps a lot with this as well

  8. To avoid confusion, you could have mentioned that "utility wise a support character is always better than a dps character". Fischl is a support character whereas yae is a dps character. So obviously fischl provides a lot more to her team than yae.

  9. i run yae in a team with Raiden, kazuha, and xingqiu and it's so much fun. raidens skill plus kazuhas em support make her so strong and I don't even have to do anything. plus her turrets going off while I'm in raidens burst provide so much extra damage. ofc this team is a little bit of a glass cannon so you have to dodge well and pray xingqiu heals well.
my other team with her is phys traveler, diona, and raiden. my trav does good damage,, but it's not great, so raiden and yae pick up the slack and the team ends up doing pretty well.
other than that yae is rlly hard to slot,, like aggravate teams are hard bc there's so few dendro units,, and I don't think she benefits that much from overload. but electro charged teams with her are so good and so overlooked tbh

  10. a good mention for Yae and fischl is that Yae has high aoe burst damage where fischl focuses on single target 🙂 also if Yae is with Venti, she does quadratic scaling.. 1 totem strike will hit all enemies in Venti's blackhole.

  11. Yae is so far the only character i regret pulling. I could put up with her being very poor in terms of meta. Although its weird to see a new 5 star outcompeted by an existing four star. But she is also really irritating to play her skill takes ages and you can get hit during it due a lack of I-frames. In the open world her turrets still do dumb shit like targeting camp fires over the enemies. Her kit is just badly designed. If you want her make sure you are pulling ONLY for waifu reasons.

  12. While it is true Fischl is superior in utility especially in C6, Yae Miko can still grow with constellations as well. I hope I could get at least 1 copy everytime she reruns… 🙁

  13. I love yae but they just did her so wrong for how highly wanted she was. A very popular honkai and genshin character who is pretty strong in both. They could’ve made yaes turrets spawn all at once with an animation like shenhe hold e animation with a like 30 second duration and like 10 second cool down. Could’ve made her unique by given her a insane rage instead of locking it behind constellations. The e reset passive is such a waste in my opinion. They should’ve given her a team buff based on her em that gives her team like an em buff or maybe whenever she causes a reaction it causes an extra tenko bolt like fischls passive. Such an amazing character with waste potential.

  14. Considering I have a geo team (zhongli and albedo) I don’t think I’ll pull. I really need an electro character but I can get by with my fischl. Not good considering I only have dendro traveller. Gonna pull for al haitham instead

  15. How come no one is mentioning that Yae Miko is the only 5* electro CATALYST user and thus adding to her potential Functional role? It was already mentioned in this video that she has superior DPS to Fischl and leveraging that with the variety of effects that catalysts can provide (i.e. A Thousand Floating Dreams, Hakushin Ring, Wandering Evening Star) depending on the weapon makes up for her "lack of functional role".

  16. I do not understand why everybody says that about yae. I have her since day one. She is really easy to build since she scale with crit, and if u slap her in with just gladiator an shime she will work fine. She just need some crit and attack. I didn't even invest on buidling her properly at C0 and i hit for +10K on her towers being F2P and +30K each ult.

Also y you tak about she not probiding anything? but you say filsch being one of the best electro aplicator? what? yae is much better she literally NEVER stop hitting the enemies. Also yae's towers have a little aoe so can hit multiple targets, and every tower can hit separately different enemies with filsch can't. Furthermore yae's tower range tower is MUCH higher than oz and stay on fiel longer too.

The only issue yae have is energy cost and being really bad at providing energy, but tahts fine due taht she is built aroud dealing constant and burst damage, she is not a support. Filsch is a offfield damage dealer/support. She does not yae's damage but compensate it being an amazing battery.

Personally i think yae does not take taht much time setting the towers 2-3 seconds… she does not take that muc htime from your rotation, and you do not have to go to yae again if it's not necesary with every single rotation cause the towers stand a long time. I play her with tighnari and they complement really well cause the time both need is short.

  17. What does Hu Tao provides expect high damage? What does Ganyu provides? So why they're considered wonderful dps and Yae Miko has problems? If we have to talk about practicality… Hu Tao can be risky if not paired with an adequate shielder (Zhongli or Thoma, at best, or you have to play it safe with xq poor heals) and Ganyu needs to charged attack, not the smoothest playstyle. Right? Also, why people forget that Yae can hit VERY hard with her burst? Fischl can't reach those numbers with the best build, it's not just "oz can almost do the turrets dmg!". My C0 Yae can hit 70k with her three following attacks after the burst. Also now with aggravate she can hit very hard with her NA/CA too so playing her with more field-time is not a problem. She's just more of a classical main-dps than a support-sub dps as fischl 🙂

  18. I’m pulling for Yae because I already have Tartaglia and I REALLY want Layla, I don’t actually care if I get Yae or not lol
To me Layla is worth it, I just hope Nahida is kind to me and I get her with a couple of 10 pulls left over

  19. its like the xingqiu yelan arguemnt. sure xingqui might be ever so slightly better with his faster application and atk scaling dmg, but usually instead of asking whose better we ask "por que no los dos"
