So we officially know what Zhongli rerun banner will be and against popular belief Ningguang is not on the banner. Now I do agree that Ningguang makes a whole lot of sense and probably should have been on the banner but Noelle is here instead and I have a theory on why that maybe. Now upon this theory and a bit of a trend I see going on here it leads me to believe what might happen on Eula’s banner but that is a whole different video lol

I was one of those people that said it would for sure be ningguang. I'm really surprised it's actually Noelle your theory was right on the button so credit for that.
This is an easy skip for my main account, Yanfei is not worth using my pity on Zhongli on that account. Ik he's broken but I personally don't like using 5 stars that make things so much easier so I avoided both his banner and ventis banner. I feel like they make things too easy for me. I totally understand why people want him tho and I don't blame them.
For my alt account I have 4000 primos and 8 fates. I'm 18 summons into the guarantee pity. Here I would like to avoid Zhongli but one of the things I want to do eventually on this account is get a c6 Noelle and use her as a dps. I'm at c4. Yanfei also interest me a lot so I'll probably do a few mutlis, hope to get one of the two and hope to not get Zhongli. If I get Zhongli here it's not the end of.the world since it's not my account and this account is a lot weaker.

I was considering pulling on the weapon banner to get those 5 stars and the lithic set but then realised if I put any of those weapons on my team their crit stats (in the case of those who actually have good crit dmg/rate balance), it would mess things up quite a bit, so i'll pass and focus on Zhongli.

I think they are trying to tell us to use more SHIELDS. From last Geo boss to the new weekly boss, they are designed around shields.

I think mihoyo is trying to put at least one "Free" (noelle, barbara and xiangling) character in each banner. it's been like this since keqing. In the two previous banner, xiao got none and ganyu got 2, so one can argue that it's been on average 1 free character per banner since ganyu. The only reason I see for mihoyo to do this is to get more money from us by feeding free characters that many people already got C6.
The fact that Noelle is on Zhongli's banner makes me not want to pull on his banner anymore.

I clicked at the video because seeing your cute Zhongli profile. Unfortunately, it ruined the value for me. The fact they put Noelle JUST because of her hangout event and she is recently in a Venti re-run makes me go…WHY?! Of all people why Diona?! We will get her for free in the energy amplifier initiation.
I understand its their hangout event yet we dont get to see a rate-up for Benny and Chongyun! Do I smell bias here?! Originally I plan to use this opportunity to get more zhongli copies and build up pity but seeing this disaster of a banner, I'm skipping the entire update.
As for Yanfei, ehhh, She's gonna be added in the banner in future banner anyway so I'm in no rush. Besides, I'm saving for a certain someone anyways.
For some reason my Ningguang is c6 but Noelle only like c3 … but I have Zhongli… so not sure whether to pull or not… I only want Yanfei.

Me who have both 50/50 and guaranteed pity. It takes so many months to save primo for Zhongli and I will said it's worth it. I hope I will win the 50/50 so I can still summon for either Ayaka/Baal❤️. Goodluck to all who will summon and may the Geo archon blessed us all🤗

also there's no trend you're just stretching it super far. It's like saying oh hu tao is a pyro unit so the consolation prize is a xinyan which is pyro. Like what? that's stretched logic. It's like with venti's rerun noelle isn't a consolation prize at all like what does she have to do with anything venti does? They also know they're doing a zhongli banner so why tf would they rerun noelle again so soon. Ningguang hasn't been on rate up for forever. Your logic is super flawed and has no basis.

I see so many people think that this banner sucks, but it literally has some of the best units in the game for defense/support.
Yes it should've been Ningguang, but Noelle doesn't make this banner any worse than Ningguang would.
You get the 3 best shielders in the game all in the same banner, two healers with insane utility in their kit, a new 4* that is comparable to a pyro Ningguang (although her performance isn't clear yet, we can theorize that she's gonna be really strong) and not to mention the synergy among all these units (Zhongli-Yanfei, Zhongli-Noelle, Yanfei-Diona, Yanfei-Noelle).
