Terrible mentality you zoomers have these days when it comes to games. You all think that playing online games is all about racing to max level and becoming part of the chase for the "meta". Couldn't be more wrong. Just enjoy the content at a regular pace and appreciate the creative design. It's never too late if you're not a monkey brain.
I never thought I was too late for genshin even though I started about a week ago. Because there are still a lot of other nations like sumeru, fontaine, natlan, even snezhnaya. And I am already in Liyue (after zhongli gave his gnosis to signora and childe) so if I keep being actove, I can probably finish inazuma before sumeru comes out
i really dont understand why mihoyo makes important stories into limited events, i started during shenhe banner and i was like who are those monstad characters??? never met them in the story
I am basically a new player, i think i installed the game 2 or 3 weeks ago and I'm AR 22 almost 23. I really want to catch up because i love the graphics, character design and the whole concept of the game world. But i must admit that getting primogems is pretty hard, and as the kind of Pearson that generally concentrates on getting certain characters first it is kinda painful having to do so many missions to afford 1 pull.
I am actually a bit glad that I started late than the others. When I am in a pinch (especially if it concerns puzzles) I often watch yt videos about it and that really helps me a lot on how to finish the quest.
A big thank you for those channels uploading Genshin contents. You deserve a thousand primogems
I started 3 weeks ago and achieved AR 40, I'm disappointed of myself because I got Qiqi in Ayato's banner and left me discouragement. The memories of my hardworks in the game flashbacks and stopped me from continuing the game lol. And now I regret stopping on playing the game because I love Genshin Impact so much, but now I'm thinking on coming back after I finish my studies. >:>

AND im f2p and allready in ar50. if u have time then ofc u can start and play. now is Ayakas banner and im like "yeah u are cute and good but i dont need u now.. I main Rosaria and i want her C's " like i play bc i want and i like this. i dont have to pull Yelena or Miko bc everyone.
as a new genshin player, i think its not too late. i have been watching gameplay before i downloaded the game and i intentionally play after 1-2 years have passed because when games usually start it always has little to no content in it so in order to get alot of content i play after a year or so then ill know things like which characters to roll for, how to save up primos, which are the best characters, alot of the story and so on. plus there are like 4 regions more that will probably take 4 years since each of the three were playable in one year (i think) so the other 4 will probably take in total 4 years, then lets not forget about the story, the story is still incomplete yet and only has like what 2 chapters? correct me if im wrong but there are 10 chapters to go, AND there is still Celestia to unlock and many more things until genshin impact will be complete, so in total i think the years would probably take up to 5-8 years (but the average will probably be 7 years) so my conclusion is that it is not too late to start in 2022 (actually ur still pretty early if you start in 2022)

How did you beat this quest? All characters I got are Traveler, Amber, Noelle, Diona, Sayu, Rosaria, Kaeya and Lisa and my AR is below 10.
It's never too late. It'd say it's always too early. Why? Because later you join the game, more content it'll have. I mean…imagine being new player when map is full. {7 nations plus Khaenri'ah}
It's never too late to jump in. While some characters would be Level locked due to the materials being in another nation, new Travelers would usually be far too busy exploring the world and progressing the story.
In fact, I only started to raise my characters seriously when I finally completed all the story and side quests.
i started a few days after this past christmas. sure, it sucks that i cannot get some limited weapons or do some limited quests, but i still am enjoying the game a ton. i had to make a new account 2 and a half months ago due to some weird account error, but that didnt stop me from playing.
Genshin isn't worth it for new players. Devs made it clear that they don't want a lot of people playing their game. They're happy enough with milking few whales.
Honestly, as a starting 2022 player, I’m only sad that I missed out on Aloy, since she was a limited bow character and I only have Amber as a bow character, but it is what it is…
Yeah I’ve been playing for a few months now and I’ve already finished most of the main quest line. It’s fun and even though it’s seems too late to play it’s actually pretty early
Managed to get jean but can't beat that stupid wind cube. Keeps blasting over the orbs before I can get to them. Don't get how that boss is supposed to be fun. The gliding mechanic drives me up the wall.
It's never too late, I've Just started this month, it's been 21 days and I'm ar30 now and even got 12 4stars characters and I'm doing we will be reunited quest in monstadt and rise of the jade chamber in liyue 😊👍
They did add the QUICK START QoL (quality of life) feature in the last event so they're listening to their playerbase. Wouldn't surprise me if they add QoL for new players to farm for character materials down the line.

The worst thing besides missing out on Lore….for new travelers is Grinding for ARTIFACTS.
