All songs are from the Genshin Impact OST besides the one at the very start. That one’s from Metal Gear Solid 3. It’s called Surfing Guitar. Oh wait, Deja Vu is in there too.

  1. No. Not yet. Maybe in 1 or 2 years Mihoyo will and endgame content, but until all the conformist normies and whiteknights leave the game for good, Mihoyo won't bother improving it or adding content. It's a lose of time and a bad investment to start playing Genshin Impact now. Don't.

  2. This is genuinely a really helpful video. Loads of friends keep trying to get me to try Genshin but I've been hesitant to risk falling into another predatory pay to win mobile game loop. Its good to know it's entirely optional to spend money and doesn't just eventually become a requirement.

  3. Its easily 100% worth playing I and my siblings have been playing from the very start and never spent a penny. once the story is over than you don't even have to give it too much time tho it can be negative for some people. also you got diluc as your first 5 star I got him as well not the best any more but still gets the job done.

  4. I love Salt's content, but I'm gonna save you a video. No. Look at the size of the game and understand it makes Warfare playtime look like a speedrun. Also, gacha (read as garbage 🗑) mechanics. (I can't wait to open my phone on break to see 800 pings on YouTube telling me how wrong I am… but… the waifus)

  5. OK so I've watched half of the video at this point and I don't know what the game is about yet. 😛

It might be better to establish why to play a game before telling how it works. I'll finish the video tomorrow, I guess I'll find out then.

  6. Great game; can't recommend it if you care about gacha.

I started playing this game when it first came out and quit after witnessing how disgusting mhy customer service/management is.
I'd rather play a game that treats me not like a third-class citizen, like PGR.

  7. As someone who’s played Genshin for the last several months, I think this is an excellent and fair review. Only correction is regarding blunt vs bladed weapons, in which there is absolutely no difference as the game makes no distinction. Another user did point out that the debate club is classed as a claymore and therefore superior at breaking shields, I agree with them that’s probably where the confusion came from.

To expand on gacha and it’s effect on endgame (I.e spiral abyss) it’s absolutely possible to clear with just the free characters (Traveller, Amber, Kaeya, Lisa, Barbara, Xiangling and arguably Noelle) and get 36 stars. It’s certainly easier with some of the other characters though. In addition, several 4* characters are among the most used characters. Bennett and Xingqiu are considered SS tier support units, the latter and Xiangling are some of the best off field DPS characters and one of the most effective teams is made up exclusively of 4* units. You absolutely can pay to win, but really what you’re paying for is the ability to win sooner than free players. Outside of spiral abyss, the level of difficulty is low enough that you won’t have much trouble even without a good team.

For those that want to spend just a bit of money, the battle pass and Welkin Moon are great value. Beyond those, value for money drops a shit ton. This is an expensive game to whale in. There is some pressure in how limited the banners are. While this is obvious to gacha players, this does need to be emphasised for others. Impulsive spenders should not play this game.

  8. Play this game since launch and is it reeally worth play? If you're non spender that just play it now, too bad you miss alot good events that give you decent 4* character and weapon but even for player just play it 6 months ago still miss out alot. This game intededly to make you keep play and fear missing out the only worth time to play for new player pretty much almost nonexistany by now, all the big events rewards are just the same for almost a year now and way worse compare to unreconcile start despide you need resin to finish it the rewards limit to get the items 4 times more than all non resin spent event till now well except the rodhea event which is…only appear in 1.4 patch LOL!. So in summary if you just new play this game this game is not that f2p friendpy in the first place and the gacha ain't that great the only thing that reduce the awful 0.6% 5* drop is the soft and hard pity rewards wh8ch is sorry…the pity are not part of the gacha in the first place it's just a rewards to player pull at certain amount it's your typical want to pull more mentality thinking you will hit the pity again very close. This game become less favorable for any new player and if you are that commited to play this game, just make sure build your account for 6 months straight to be decent enough so you can clear all content in this game because once Sumeru patch is out, I don't think this game going to be very kind with new player from that point on until probaly the 3rd or 4th year due to horrible time gate and not very desirable rewards after clear the events and some hard content in it+ since new year is almost happen better make new account now because since genshin is a chinese game the best period to get devent ingame loot is always around january to febuary.

  9. It's good for the first 30-ish hrs.
Characters and the story are really engaging.
Sadly it becomes hell after that since the true spirit of RNG will take over.
