Nobody is forcing you to complete the Aranara quests, that's your own fkin problem.
I personally loved those quests so keep your opinions to yourself
Unskippable cutscene and a ton of Puzzles which alot off times have no explanation so you have to google how to solve them and sometimes you need something you dont have yet.
I personally enjoy farming and make my chars stronger and it was fun for a while but i always have to do alot of story when a new charackter comes cause i need to unlock the places i can farm their stuff.
I dont want to play for multiple hours each slightly bigger patch and have to watch hours of cutscenes i dont care about.
ZZZ is the perfect Hoyo game for me i can skip anything thats uninteresting and they just let me farm my stuff.
Also about the story. Isnt the traveler traveling for 500 years in this world already ? Considering how op he got after like 2 weeks of us playing shouldnt be like a god in this world after 500 years ? Archons shouldnt boother him in strengh.

It feels like aside from the Archon quests they’re constantly giving us lame busy work with subpar rewards. They have this cool world and cool characters and do nothing with them.

I'll be honest, I picked up Genshin on Xbox when it released 5.2 and have been having a blast. I don't see the issue with the game, I see the issue with the players who think they need to get everything, spend money, fomo and just want to skip content so they can get back to farming. Like I have no issue playing the story, levelling up, getting new characters, building a team. I wish all the missions had voice over as it's a lot of reading but overall it's a chill game. Good way to relax after work and I treat it as a single player game, no reason to have the meta if I'm not struggling to beat the content. Plenty of things to do, cool events and I love the app for mobile with it's forums and community. Lots of nice people to talk with and ask questions and earn free stuff.
Honestly the only people complaining are the people who expect a free game to be more then it needs to be. Like this is already blowing paid games out of the water for me. Easily replaced Destiny 2 and got me away from Elden Ring because I enjoy the combat the game offers.
I think my one complaint early on was why limit Stamina and why don't chests show up on the map but once I actually levelled up and got use to exploring and doing puzzles I enjoyed that aspect much more.
Again I'm a new player, about 30-40 days on the game now but it's far from a bad game. I'd recommend it to others.
When the game first come out the resin was bad, if i remember correctly its was 120 resin end tell woke china players complaint and they changed to 160 resin, but its still bad after hoyshit got money they ignore old veterans and only listen to china players only so its no point for western complaint, after they losing players and scary against with wuwa so they changed the resn to 200 and get a free 5 for 4 years anniversary when the characters are not worth to play, and ceo cry like a bitch and the cringe point at he look at the feedback in the lives and say we listen to feedback players.
Is not genshit is the hoyshit community at are dumb, also thought youtube creator they got pay form hoyshit, if they say bad thing they will get blacklists from hoyshit, is not only hoyshit game same with other game too.

I like genshin but you do make some valid points. Although I will say that you do seem as defensive as those who can't accept fault with the game. I will say that the whole going to a new region, solving a crisis, and repeat rather than having meaningful story progress is a let down, so I do hope the ending can live up to the hype otherwise my taste for gacha will sour because it is a massive time investment taking years for the story to develop, so it would be a shame if it was all there just to sell characters (which obviously is what they're doing) but I just hope I don't end up being blueballed.
I do also think being a mobile game means that there are some limitations.
