After doing the whole quest line, I think this would be the representation of what Teyvat would become if the prophecy is not stopped. This would be the final cycle where no civilization will survive hence numerous parties (Jakob and Rene's World Formula, Khaenriah's own world formula) are trying to avoid this prophecy.
