The Raiden Shogun is coming in just about 3 weeks! As an electro character, it made us curious on how Mihoyo will make her sell well/make her at the least viable. After looking into her kit, it was very interesting and somehow complicated, so we decided to share our research though this video. Anyway, We hope you enjoy!^^

    After re watching the video (after it's uploaded since we were both too busy to check in detail) We noticed that we made several mistakes, so this pinned comment will be addressing those that might cause misunderstandings.

    -Honey impact messed up her burst multipliers when we made this video, but Falingz forgot to remove the part when i said "the basic & charged attack multipliers on her burst are oddly low." It's actually more-less the same as keqing's.

    -Falingz also forgot to cut several "sorrys" which is actually directed at Falingz as if I stutter he has to suffer and cut out that audio.

    -c2 and c4 is mixed up by Honey impact so

    c2: Ignoring 60% of enemy's defense when her burst is active.

    c4: 30% attack buff as her burst ends.

    -It is also important to understand, that we compare Baal to other characters JUST to get the GIST of her multipliers, and not compare her as a whole to for example keqing, since I'm sure they are also played in different ways.

    -Watching the whole video before commenting would also save us time, to NOT have to re-explain things down below in the comments.

  8. Secret Art: Musou Shinsetsu (At Lvl 10):

    The initial burst hit would be increased by 7% per stack
    The sword hits would be increased by 0.87% per stack

    So at 60 stacks the initial burst slash goes from 721.44% to 1141.44%

    Her burst skill has also had a buff on the Resolve Bonus field.

    Previous: 7.00% Initial/0.87% ATK DMG Per Stack
    New: 7.00% Initial/1.31% ATK DMG Per Stack

    Her burst skill had slight modifier changes:

    * Musou no Hitotachi Base DMG: 706% => 721%
    * Cooldown: 20s => 18s
    * Energy Cost: 80 => 90

    New entry:

    Resolve Stack Bonus: 7% Per Stack/0.87% ATK

    The 4 piece Emblem of Severed Fate works on her elemental burst, adding additional burst dmg up to 75% based on Energy Recharge. Her ult will hit like a truck.

  10. 1. Baal energy burst cost 90 energy, 18 sec cd, 7 duration

    2. Baal resolve stack disappear after 300 seconds of leaving battle

    3. Baal's element skill for other character only deals 20% of original damage (if Baal trigger coordinate attack deal 100, other character only deals 20 e.g.)

    4. Baal's element skill burst damage bonus count as this, energy cost of that burst * percentage, for example baal burst 90 * skill level 10 0.3 = 27% bonus burst damage

    She cant really be sup dps due to elemental skill 20%

  16. I don't see she's broken in anyway, there are many characters in the game can do better damage than her, and there are characters can be a better support than her. While Venti and Zhongli fit in any team, you will have to find a team for Baal instead even when you use her as a support. She's a good pull but not broken, people are just hyped because she's the first female archon, that's all.

  22. The team.. is going to be be.. Baal + Kokomi + Bennett/Zhongli/Kazuha + Eula/Ayaka… I'm going to build Baal ER, Crit Rate, Crit Damage, ATK/EM… Allowing for me to swap between Baal or Ayaka/Eula for main dps on the fly. Primarily shooting for superconduct/electro charge/freeze comp flexing between physical and elemental depending on situation. Also I'm super simping.. I'm going to C6 her.. no fucks given. I'll be mostly using her with Ayaka since I have a C4.. My first full whale.
