  1. tbh i wish they didn't forget him at the end, everything was fine but i feel like everybody forgetting about him defeats the purpose of him not being able to change the past and own up to his mistakes

  2. I've played Genshin for 500+ days straight, no breaks whatsoever, it's understandable that it took a toll in my enjoyment, now it's been a few months and I cannot even bare to login, it's such a shame that I don't have it in me anymore to play this game, I'm AR59 with plenty of min maxed characters, grinded so much, played endlessly, now it's all gone. All I'm looking forward to is the archon quest but I don't have the capacity within myself to enjoy playing it, so I just watch it here, but even then I feel bitter getting reminded that this game i found joy in, is no longer what it was to me, thank you hoyoverse, but I guess it's time to say goodbye (also I Nahida didn't come home 😭)

  3. I can't stand anymore to shitmon's voice, it's annoying af, I always have to mute the dialogues just because of that
i doin't understand how she's not annoying for like everybody
and furthermore, that voice is clearly modified and faked, it doesnt sound like a child at all, so it's 100% crap without any valid reason to exist

  4. To summarize

Scaramouche learned the truth from the Irminsul which was also provided by Kusanali. It was the Doctor's doing all along that made what is Scara the way he is. Then, realizing that Niwa didn't betrayed him, he wanted to change the past, hoping to save the people he killed for his hatred

Doing so, he erased his name from history, but it didn't changed the results of their deaths, only altered of how it's done. Resulting to everyone forgetting who Scara is including himself, and the people he killed was done differently as a replacemenf for deleting his name

In the present, we met Wanderer (no name, no memories) and we brought him to Kusanali hoping to learn the reason, but since he knows nothing, he still wanted to learn the truth. Thus, Kusanali showed all his memories, after a while, he decided to fully reclaim it as he felt empty in his life.

In the end, Wanderer managed to remember everthing, but he changed the world by altering its history. Therefore, he didn't saved the people he killed, but just erasing his existence.

The voice who talked to us in the end said that no matter how much we try to change history, it can't changed the result already made.

  5. This is a great redemption arc and all, but I wish he made everyone else get their memories of him back too… What's the point of "wanting to bear the sins of your past" if you make everyone else forget about them? Not even his fellow Harbingers will even remember him once being part of them.

  6. My only gripe in this quest is that Nahida now has no legal grounds to make Wanderer pay for his crimes in Sumeru when he was the balladeer.

Because in the altered history, The mech god that the sages created didn't use Scaramouche. Nahida mentioned there was no person inside it when they had fought it. So it was purely mechanical.

Which means if Nahida make wanderer pay for terrorizing Sumeru, the Sumeru people would find it weird, since in their eyes he's Innocent as they don't remember him being the balladeer. And I guess Nahida can't easily say "His past self terrorized Sumeru and tried to replace me as the god"

I also find it weird that he was ready to face his sins he made with the Raiden Gokaden, and to basically pay all the troubles he had done to the traveller, but didn't mention he'll face his sins on the Sumeru people and with Nahida.

Though I'd like to believe that his slight hesitation at the end when he was about to leave, and then facing them again, was a sign that he had considered facing his sinz with Nahida by working with her, and being under her care. (basically becoming a Secretary lol)

  7. Nahida is truly brilliant. Writing a fairytale filled with analogies and allegories to circumvent the editing of History.

This chapter was incredible: a true redemptive arc of Scaramouch. Not only does he now wants to bear his sins, but his punishment is the fact that Niwa and the orphaned child no longer had relations with him. (A cruel punishment for Scara of his own folly….)

However, he now has a lifetime of a "goal-less" but unharmed Wanderer to compare and contrast with his Scaramouche life filled with anger and resentment.

This was a merciful method from Nahida – it gives Scaramouche a perspective and a choice for redemption.

Thus. I named him Kenshin – meaning True. I hope he lives by that, and experience relationships where people are glad to know him.
