  4. I believe they didn't show Natlan's 'war' aspect because teasers like these are (assumption) sort of marketing material for the upcoming region. Like, as soon as this trailer dropped many unfamiliar faces started making reaction videos to it. Which obviously translates to exposure. (Same happened with Overture Teaser) Now, back in the Overture teaser, they didn't show Fontaine's 'justice' aspect that much either. Like, there was just a 10 second court scene at the end (And we all know how brutal the Fontaine AQ was). Rest assured, Natlan will definitely have one heck of an Archon Quest. I understand you wanted to see the 'war' aspect of Natlan, (ngl I did too). But I understand why they did it

  7. something i'm noticing is that while natlan is the nation of war, there's been emphasis on not so much war but competition/tournaments. this makes me think that maybe the tournament is the method through which they engage in "war," though what the war is about remains to be seen.

  8. I'm guessing that the Redhead isn't the archon. I think she is a literal phoenix. My guess is that the pyro archon never actually got replaced after their death but reviving them will be a major part of the archon quest.

    As for the lack of diversity, I never really expected much. As screwed up as it is, darker toned characters don't sell as well in Hoyoverse's largest market and they know that the global market will spend regardless. It is all about money. I do think that the company could get around those lower sales numbers if they really tried but that doesn't seem likely at this point.

    Interestingly, other than the Himeko lookalike, no one else in the trailer seems to be pyro (Iansan, Capitano and the guy shown briefly next to him are the only ones without obvious elements in the trailer).

    Also, Bloodborne Elf lady is probably my favorite design of the bunch personally.

  13. what i’m honestly so excited to experience is sugiyama noriaki and junko takeuchi as kinich and ajaw. their unit is literally just sasuke and naruto so it’s gonna be extra nice to play using the JP dub

  19. I feel like at this point. We have knowledge of Celestia has done (from Sumeru), we’ve seen with our own eyes what they’ve done to Teyvat (from Fontaine), and now we need to act on pure instinct to fight back.

  22. My guess is that everyone that had the ball including the girl that got hit in the head with the ball are the tribe leaders and they have to participate in a tournament and that’s what the start was about them throwing the ball to start the off the tournament

  28. I love how slowly and slowly the archon just doesn't disguise themselves as ordinary people, Venti and Zhongli hid their identities, but the rest just doesn't care, I do wonder why Venti and Zhongli care though
