this was such a greatly done concert both musically and visually. tbh tho, I kinda agree with bran with some songs feeling a little repetitive atp. I'm fine with archon and "signature" nation music to separate each part but I just wish they added more songs from other areas as well like dragonspine, enkanomiya, chasm, even the desert region. heck they could've added the limited songs from golden archipelago too. I'm also okay with there being a few fontaine songs for this one. they could save that for this year's concert 🙂

I would agree on some piece being repetitive. But it's prob related to amount of time they have to make sure the orchestra has time to practice.
while they can fix stuff in post-production, Chinese music shows have infamous history on music not syncing with some of the more fake playing.
Hoyo prob doesn't want to bring that problem to the international audience.

Why they changed singer for Polumnia Omnia? Original singer was Yu Peng Chen himself, so.. Safe to say, we can forget about "classic" version of this song on the concerts.

I think this one is the worst they have done so far, kinda sad people react to this on and not the Shangai one wich is waay better
Lover's Oath being Guizhong's song was purely fan-made by a random YouTube comment that got spread as a popular headcanon. The song is being shown explicitly belonged to Xiao and Traveler, both in game and in this concert.
Very disappointed in the lack of the Fontaine music also dont like how remixed characters themes were, but overall it was pretty good

Hoyo Mix has done the AR thing since the Honkai Impact concert Dreamy Euphony and that was surpassed by Forest Capriccio. All of Hoyo Mix’s concerts are absolute classics. I wish they could have put a few more themes in there

when I started jenshin, the very first theme got me was Dawn Winery, both night and day themes, to the point that I had their 1h version of it on play for hoirs while doing work and everything.. never got tired of it
omg ive been waiting to watch u react to this ever since it came out!! the concert is so good!! 😍🥰🔥🔥🔥
So I have this habit of hunting down the standalone tracks featured in these concerts on HOYO-MIX, and only while doing it for this concert did I find out that there are two versions of the Dawn Winery Theme, AND THEY'RE BOTH CALLED DAWN WINERY THEME. Because of this, countless people will probably go their whole life without being able to appreciate both versions because they thought the two were the same track. The sheer horror of this discovery has denied me sleep for weeks on end.
If the 2022 concert was mainly about bands, I think 2023 is the orchestra. The orchestra was amazing, but I personally think the 2022 concert was really powerful.
I'm really looking forward to this year's concert, thinking that there will be Sumeru music and Fontaine music that haven't come out yet!

I loved what we did get, but like Bran said I was quite disappointed with the setlist and the fact that we only got 2 tracks from Fontaine. I feel like there are so many underappreciated gems that they could have performed, for example the Eternal Oasis theme, Across Dimming Asterisms, anything from Watatsumi Island, or even the Melody of Merusea. And those are barely scratching the surface of this amazing soundtrack. I don't mean to sound harsh, but I feel like they did get a tiny bit lazy while selecting which songs would be played. Or maybe they picked the most popular ones to gain views, but then where was Port Ormos. I don't really know what the thought process was.
I remember all the music from Sumeru, but Fontaine's music is not in my memory at all, maybe only a couple of melodies. I didn't like the music of the fight at all. For me, it's boring, bland, like French mashed potatoes without salt.

like fading twilight or fastering desire or cinnabar spindle
because it seemed not fair for the new player to pass out on some good weapon because clearly we don't gonna have event for them again
and some five-star weapon should be added in standard Banner like the unforged . memory of dust

what we can conclude here is that Sumeru has one of the best soundtracks in the whole game, and i dare yall to prove me wrong (man, i miss Sumeru)
