Genshin Impact is from a Chinese company, but how many of us actually play it in the language it was meant to be played in? TODAY, I go full immersion mode and attempt to play Genshin, but ONLY in Chinese… (my chinese sucks btw)

  2. i play in english with chinese voice overs to improve my chinese

i already speak chinese, because my entire background is chinese, but it's my second language so i never bothered learning it properly. i technically attended classes for it, but i never paid attention to those so it's moot point. as a result, i only speak enough to make conversation easily, but don't know any eloquent ways of phrasing or idioms or any words that aren't used on a daily basis. about mid primary school level, i reckon, for schools in china. Think slightly better than antony.

that's only verbally tho, i cannot read chinese beyond a handful of characters. which is why the text is in english.

  3. Really enjoy this. Probably a side note, the reason Ganyu has been interpreted as the F-word: the way you pronounce "gan" ends with a very heavy glottal sound, which makes it sounds like "gan-nge-yu". Next time try to split the two characters a bit more, it will help.

  4. I play in japanese, just because chinese sounds TOO strange for me, I never watched something in that language before so is really strange, but I like the voices.
