like how he yeeted qiqi & diluc at me on both childe banners i tried pulling for
Fun fact: childe is actually absolutely ass with a bow and arrow. That is why he uses it. He is on par with the absolute strongest with all other weapons. He uses the bow and arrow to learn and make things harder. Think jax(saijax icathun calirinx) from league of legends but ginger and enjoys carnage.
In fact, He Just uses bow to trein, ncs he knows how to use ALL THE WEAPONS IN THE FREAKING WORLD but he is not to good in bow, so, he use hydro blades and trow a arrow is a stronger atack than with the bow

He cannon can't use a bow which is y he uses it, so he can get gud

One tiny detail I liked to mention. Tartaglia throws the arrow with his left hand. But when he aims with the bow, he uses his right hand. Which kinda explains why he sucks at it in the first place

I can just imagine the animators making his animations and suddenly forget he was a bow user and just added a polearm attack not to mention it looks like Candace's attack too😆

Childe's last arrow doing the most damage makes sense canonically too. The reason he uses a Bow is because he's NOT GOOD with bows and wants to get better with them. Take the bow out of the equation and he does more damage without being handicapped by the weapon lmao
Well Collei, a tiny little sick girl throws boomerangs at the speed of arrows. Therefore she is stronger than Tartaglia. Boomerangs are heavier than arrows, and again she is a sick little girl.
I have another way to see it : he said himself he fights with a bow cause that’s the one weapon he handles the less
So in the end, he’s better at throwing than quick shooting with a bow 😂

Jokes aside, Childe actually doesn’t know how to use a bow, that’s why his skill isn’t a bow and why he is always seen fighting with his daggers in cutscenes! Another funny little thing is that is his most damaging normal attack 😂
