  1. Something that doesn't get mentioned here is the link between this cyclical nature and Ragnarok which would tie back to Khaenri'ah being inspired by Norse mythology. There are hints in some records near the door to Khaenri'ah in the new area that may elude to the people of Khaenri'ah finding a way to separate themselves from the cycle. This may be why the gods cursed them with immortality, cause if they died, they wouldn't return to the cycle. so it was a final punishment, to say that they would suffer in this world until it finally ended and the next samsara occurred

  2. Something funny I found is wei mentioned six cycle and this being 7th cycle is similar to how Manvantara is
A manvantara, in Hindu cosmology, is a cyclic period of time identifying the duration, reign, or age of a Manu, the progenitor of mankind. In each manvantara, seven Rishis, certain deities, an Indra ( title for king of heaven) a Manu, and kings (sons of Manu) are created and perish.
Currently 6 cycle have passed and 7th one is going on.
Not to mention Iriminsul also has similarity to Hindu world tree Ashwattha which is said to be upside down tree whose branches absorb quality ( guna) from material world while roots strech to form action of human ( like stars in teyvat)

Also Bran Jñana's correct pronunciation will be J-nya-n not just nya-na, though you can use way people say it here and is easy that being G like in Gold-ya-n

  4. One thing doesnt add up whatever theory u make is that , why didnt the abyss twin wait for us or try to wake us up ?!? Also if a samsara happens that means everyone died that cycle n got absorbed by the irmunsel right ? Suppose this did happen with the abyss twin thus they r recorded . But what about us ? Shouldn't we have 1 star about us even if it's us just sleeping through an entire samsara cycle ? i think there is more to it to the abyss twin than we know of , like somethings doesn't add up .

  5. 7:10… but here lies the contradiction… wei said, dead people are absorbed… but how about the souls we encountered in Hu Tao quest? Or the "boatman" in inazuma? Or that dessert afterlife thing?

  6. Maybe the reason for this hive mind was to evolve ppl of Teyvat so they could survive the catacylsm and the samsara would end if all people get visions(if the gods of Teyvat were good) or maybe just selecting a few bunch of people who are required/necessary for survival as they have already proved themselves.A Samsara cycle ends when the Apocalypse already destroyed the previous timeline.

  7. Idk if someone mentioned this already. But in Chinese a constellation is usually referred to as 命(ming4) meaning life. So 3 constellations would be called 3 life.

  8. The myth that sloths fall by mistaking their arms for branches is actually false! On the contrary, a sloth's grip is so strong, they will stay in the tree even after they are dead.
One sad thing is that if a sloth mom drops her baby from the trees, she will just leave it, because it's too much effort to climb down to get them.
A strange fact about them is that they are pretty good in water. They are good swimmers, and can hold their breath underwater longer than dolphins.

  9. Wei also have pointed out before the Sumeru patch that Tevyat is based on Yggdrasil. A Norse Cosmology world where a huge tree connects nine worlds. — That being the 7 Worlds, the Human World and the Ragnarok (Celestia).

Although there's one thing they didn't mention— We also have the Serpent Dragon "Nidhogg" who gnaws at a root of the tree. This Snake was trapped under the tree during the Ragnarok Era. In Poetic Edda, there's this Hawk "Ratatoskr" who lives in the top of the World Tree. Knowing that they both despise each other, this hawk enjoys to running up and down the tree spreading lies between them. One day Nidhogg felt very offended and after his vow to kill the hawk, he shook the foundations of the mythical tree so hard resulting to tremble the entirety of the Nine Worlds and setting himself free of Yggdrasil's roots.

This serpent, Nidhogg represent both "order and destruction". This could also where The Sinner from Genshin Impact be based on despite theorizing being a fellow Khaenri'ah who also lives under any nations of Tevyat. If not Khaenri'ah, this Sinner could be someone more than who used to reside in one nation. This is just a hunch.

About the CYCLE: we know that it's part of nature, especially for tree to cycle every four seasons. Despite Tevyat being means as the ARK. In Bible, before the Cycle or flood, the devils created the false gods, that being Baal, Astarte, Asherah, Chemosh, Dagon, Moloch, Tammuz. (Also 7) along with "ugly" creatures that they also created. They are the reason why the Cycle needs to occur, to cleanse one's flawly work.

In short : it's just like a never ending fight between two people.

  10. I saw a theory about Paimon creating They samsara cycle of Teyvat so the Travelers wouldn't leave her and that the Sustainer IS paimon locking them into the samsara after they leave Teyvat the first time.

  11. My Theory:
I theorize that there have been 6 cataclysms, and Samsaras are the time in-between cataclysms. I think at the cataclysm's apex, Celestia drops a nail, marking the end of the previous samsara and the beginning of a new samsara.

This acts in the same way of a yearly cycle to Irminsul, and it bears Irminsul fruit using the "nutrients" from the previous samsara to bear Irminsul fruit, which are the stars that form constellations.

Since people's constellations go up to C6, that's 6 cataclysms, and 6 celestial nails

  12. you know what this makes me think… is the fact that if teyvat is on its 7th samsara loop, it explains why characters maximum constellation is 6. the cycle ended 6 times, and it has yet to end a 7th time since its currently in the 7th loop …. and once this cycle ends perhaps another constellation level is added to all characters since the 7th one has ended too
