miHoYo releases Baal’s teaser for the newest 2.1 version update soon to come to Genshin Impact. Within the teaser we get to learn a bit about Baal’s past along with some friends she made along the way.

  13. The lore behind Baal's teaser
    Baal had three people dear to her
    The first one was Sasayuri (black haired) (related to Kujou Sara in tenryou commision) he used to work for Baal, Later he was killed by Orobashu (sorry if wrong spelling) in Watatsumi and Orabashi was killed by Raiden in serpent which caused the serpent split in half and now Kujou Sara is the general. The other laying down is Chiyo, she was trapped some sort of abyssal monsters stomach which caused her to go insane and she lost an arm during her fight with the Raiden Shogun, she is assumed to be dead. The last one is the Kitsune maiden also known as Kazari, she also in the abyss cataclysm and died. died during the world quest. We witnessed her soul disappear and leaving the Kitsune mask after her death .

  18. I'm glad they went with the approach that a lot of people theorized. Inazuma is theme'd around japan and it's widely known that nation struggled with stuff like mental illness and such. She probably hid her emotions, never tried to acknowledge them and ended up losing her mind.

  23. While Musou Isshin is active, the Raiden Shogun's normal, charged and plunging attack DMG will be considered ELEMENTAL BURST DAMAGE so noblesse will work on her. WHY THE FUCK IS THAT NOT THE SAME IN XIAO?

    Sad past but she enforced the decrees 500 years later. Maybe something happened leading her to do that…
    Tho she had promised her people eternity as the archon long before the decrees

I think that the dude with the mask is the general before Sara who was kill by the snake god as we can see what looks to be a snake in the nothingness part then the next girl is an oni who was corrupted and the last girl is a kitsune and also the ghost shrine maiden the we get the wards from as in the eternity part a big tenuki that i think is the stone tenuki in the forest because he has connections to the kitsune girl as he stole one of her wards

  33. Let's be honest most F2P players massively care for primogems, so getting 36 stars is important for them. But with the introduction of the new, stupid game logic-breaking mechanics (high tide and low tide) tell me what's the point of having a 5-star battery unit if u are unable to get any energy for 10 whole seconds in the spiral abyss. i mean if this can be considered as a "mechanics" then what if they input something like UR C1 – C6 is disabled for 20 seconds.

Since outliving your friends is kind of commonplace for archons and Ba'al is much younger than Barbatos or Morax, I guess she's technically going through her adolescent 'no one understands me' years. Sure, those years hit harder when your situation is death and isolation rather than a mortal rebelling against their parents or what not, but I'd assume all the archons have had to spend a few generations dealing with that grief in their own way. More often than not, you need to forge a relationship that will pull you out of that phase and I think Ayaka saw that relationship in the traveler.

  38. The Tengu died in the battle between Baal and the Serpent God
    The Oni got corrupted and turned her back on Baal but it is not sure whether Baal killed her.
    The Kitsune Goddess died in the cataclysm.(not that sure with this)

  40. Dude, another Electro Burst which does an attack once you hit enemies, if you just make a team with Beidou, Electro Traveler, Fischl and Baal, pop them all that once and let it rip, it could be some nice damage

  45. I hope 2.1 will allow us to become friends with baal, instead of fighting her, she looks just sad because the dark past with her friends. She is 100% a kind person i am sure. Even tho the fight against her in 2.0 was amazing i think all she really wants are friends she can talk to again… such a sad destiny 😔
