What a beautiful soul. There are some things that make me very emotional in genshin. Some scenes, some stories, some teasers. Watching you react the way I did makes me very happy – it's not that easy to find someone I could relate to and cry together with. So thank you ^_^

One trivia to make Wanderer's story a little lighter. Wanderer's concept is actually a reference to bohemian rhapsody.
– His previous name is Scaramouche, "Scaramouch, Scaramouch, will you do the Fandango!".
– His previous element is electro(electric), "Thunderbolts and lightning, very, very frightening me".
– His new element is anemo(wind), "Any way the wind blows doesn't really matter to me".
– His dialogue in the trailer is also part of the lyrics, "I sometimes wish I'd never been born at all".
– He is also got announced to be playable in the same date as the first release of the song
There are some more details but yup, aside from the personality and the overall background story, he is a reference to Queen's Bohemian rhapsody.
10:24 they are not gods some are just demi-human (Kemonomimi) humanoid characters that possess animal-like features. They are separate species from humans but to my knowlege it hasen't been explained where they came from (we know very little.) But some like Yae use a human form to live with humans. Her real form is a small pink fox.
Cyno is somewhere between 18 and 20ish.
I really love Wanderer's personal story. It's one of the realest internal struggle scenarios out there. It's not a toxic positivity of just one day suddenly turning into someone you're not but rather it's working on what you have on this very moment. They focus on how you would be a better person without having to throw away who you really are.
Edit: I really love that youre trying to invibe with the story of the game. These outgame medias (teasers and demos) dont really spoil that much and the version trailers mostly puts red herrings so you would still be surprised when you actually get into them. The story is simple, the lore and world-building is really really really deep. And you will see that Genshin is like a fanfic of the real world myths, legends and even real events.
i dont blame you, nahida trailer never fails to make me teared up, since the first time i saw, and how many times has it been until this one, i still cried. sumeru's main quest is the best in the game so far
I think everyone can agree, the next trailer that you should DEFINITELY watch is the Teyvat Chapter Storyline Preview: Travail. it says it has spoilers but i can guarantee you theres no spoiler. if anything it is out of context which is actually more of a hint on what to expect in the next regions. its a fun and an effective trailer to pique new player's interest.

Fun (or should I say, Sad) fact: Nahida's Character Teaser was released on the actual day of her birthday
Believe it or not, but Nahida's and Wanderer's story is waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay more of a Sad ride than that.
Small fun fact: Wanderer is known by another name for 90% of the game… this name and various other parts of his story kinda align with a very well known song… Bohemian Rhapsody.
This is why it bugs me that the current playlist doesn't have Xiao and so many reactors miss his Teaser. It makes sense as to why Xiao behaves the way he does and shows why he is so "edgy" he deserves it lol. Again, they really need to add his to the playlist it's the only one that's missing so many new reactors miss it. Glad you got Xiao's in yours.

tighnari´s name is actually very mispronounced in the game! your previous pronunciation is closer to the correct way actually, there are some videos online that show the correct way but its more like tignari
just one interesting thing that i wanted to mention is that wanderer´s story is all based of the song bohemian rhapsody from queen! so in his trailer the line 'i wish i never been born at all" was a reference to it, anyway just wanted to mention it because its a cool little touch they had in hs backstory which in my opinion is the best in the game rn
20:18 He is just short lol. For most cases height has very little to do with age. Apparently he study with Lisa, I would assume he is around her age but not sure. Since how old a character is, is mostly kept a mystery. We only get an idea of it base on their connections or their actions.

. None of the characters have specific ages, only age ranges, but Cyno's well over 20 undoubtedly. The only reason the NPCs called him a "kid" is because of his size, but you can't really count on size to tell you the age of the character since characters like Dori exist.
Genshin will hit you in the feels with a 1-2 punch. Like that Lantern Rite short film. Man, it was great, but I'm not trying to cry on my lunch break. I love it so much though.

1. Cyno is around 22-24. He is also scholar but not so much onto research, but as judgment division
2. Kokomi is orphan that his predecessor was the island's leader who sacrificed during the great war. When she off duty, She is one of the most soft and very good listener.
3. Ayato is a real "ordinary person" just what made him different, he is one of the 3 clan leaders who are in charge of the whole country in inazuma. the responsibilities carried are too big to be compared with others. because Archon of Inazuma entrusted Inazuma's governance to the 3 leaders of the clan. He is orphan to btw.
4. Nahida is a 500 years old god but honestly she is betrayed with her own people (sages/some scholar to) for some reason. She not a baby, she is a cute looking grandma
5. Wanderer is not a human, he is a puppet with feelings. He had some complicated problems that made him look different from his fist look

yeah the background story and intervined connections between characters not only within their own nation but also with characters outside their homeland is incredible. and most storys are very sad. For pulling theres a Advice i always like to give, every character will come back several times in future so theres always the chance to get them later it just may only take a VERY long time waiting. So Pull for those where you would be really upset not to have on the point for gameplay theres barely some characters where to say they so good they basically a must have if you want to make high dmg or really good heals. Often characters and their abilitys are talked about like there shit and later everyone regrets not getting them cause they damn good like Zhongli or Kokomi and even Kazuha
For clarification, the lore and the character quests along with all the world explorations are all available for FREE. The only differences it made if you pull for a certain character are some of the character audios and whether you can play as this character. Also with the free primogems you get from quests, world explorations and events, you are guaranteed to get one 5-star character every other version. That's half of all the 5-star characters in the game. So as a f2p player you are guaranteed more than 90% of the entire game content. I think that's why Mihoyo are trying so hard on the character demos and teasers to make you WANT to spend money pulling for more characters despite all those above.
By the way, Kamisato Ayato and Kamisato Ayaka are siblings. When you said that Ayato give off a feeling that something is missing in his life, you got that right. The brother and sister lost their parents when they were young, so they went through a lot to get what they have today. Many of the characters in Genshin have tragic backstories. You can find out by your own while you are playing through the game.
