Hello everyone , There are several characters who have not yet received reruns in Fontaine. With the next region, Natlan, just one patch away, this could potentially be the first time a character does not appear in any regional character cycle.
Four characters have not been featured on any of the banners in Fontaine so far – Shenhe, Nilou, Ganyu, and Kokomi. The reasons for their absence are unclear, but it seems Hoyoverse may have some reservations about Shenhe in particular. She was originally released in version 2.4 back in 2022 and has only had one rerun, in the second phase of 3.5 in 2023. That means it has been 11 patches since her last appearance, with no sign of her returning.
The Chronicled Wish banner introduced in version 4.5 featured six 5-star characters and several 5-star weapons, like Eula, Albedo, and Song of Broken Pines. Based on 4.5 being a filler patch, many expected this new banner to only appear in similar non-event updates. However, the banners for 4.7 have already been confirmed, and the Chronicled Wish was not mentioned, suggesting it may not return until 4.8 or later.
If the Chronicled Wish does not appear in 4.8, it may not return until version 5.3 or 5.5, which would be quite a long wait. As such, 4.8 could represent a deadline for Hoyoverse to rerun some older characters outside of the limited event banners.
The rules for the Chronicled Wish state that only limited characters who have had at least three previous banners, and have not appeared on a recent event banner, are eligible. It’s unclear exactly how far back “recent” is defined. Additionally, the 4.5 banner had a Mondstadt logo, suggesting a regional focus, so the next Chronicled Wish may feature Liyue characters.
Considering the eligibility criteria, the Liyue characters most likely to appear on the 4.8 Chronicled Wish are Ganyu, Childe, Yelan, Keqing, and Qiqi, along with their signature weapons. Inazuma characters have all had more than three banners, so they may also be eligible, or Hoyoverse may rotate in standard characters from other regions.
The three characters – Shenhe, Kokomi, and Nilou – who have not yet had their reruns are likely to appear on limited event banners, but this is not confirmed.

I really hope yelan will be in the chronicle wish banner in 4.8 cause I need her weapon and u can’t lose all your wishes cause u could need 240 in the normal weapon banner but the max could be 160-180 wishes in the chronicled banner. I’m also wishing for navia! Wish me luck!!!🍀

hoyo were really stupid to do anouther baizhu banner. it should have been a shenhe or nilou rerun instead. nilou's last rerun was the banner right after shenhe's last rerun. both character's last rerun was before the very 1st baizhu banner. this mean thet since the last rerun of both nilou and shenhe, there was 3 baizhu banners.
sure i may want nilou and not care at all for baizhu, but at least, i could have understood their reasining for a shenhe rerun. this was basicaly hoyo saying screw logic. a proof of stupidity.
