This quest leaves us with so many questions and even more theories.
What happened with Caribert after that?
Did Chlotar really break the curse and got buried next to his wife?
Did he murder his wife? If so, it must have been before she turned into a hilichurl.
What happened with our sibling after that Caribert explosion thingie?
And how is Kaeya unaffected by the curse of immortality???

Since we’re looking through the abyss twins memories, I have a feeling that their fate was altered by the crystal we end up seeing in this quest.Recall at the end of the sumeru chapter Nahida says someone is deliberately obstructing the abyss twins fate.I have a feeling it must be this crystal that Lumine encounters.

Purely speculation, but is Caribert Kaeya???? There was no mention of another son and we don't know what happened to him after he tried to take his mask off. Could it be that when the traveler wakes up is after Kaeya was dropped off???? Not only that, but doesn't it seem like Caribert was being called "The Loom of Fate?" What other reason do they have for briefly bringing Kaeya into a story quest like this???? They wouldn't do that just to reveal his background and last name. There's got to be so much more that we haven't found out yet. I don't think there's anything that claims that Kaeya is a pureblood either, so that makes me wonder

I have a theory: Mond is germany, liyue is china, inazuma is japan, now what is sumeru? Well you see sumeru is india because india is famous of there spices, and you can hear the sound/song in sumeru that it feels like a local snake thing you know with a guy that is with a flute and the snake corba just come up to the air like a rocket, so the question is "What county is sumeru?" The answer is "Sumeru is lookalike the county India, so the lookalike is The Country India."
I have a feeling our twin have something to do with khaenri'ahs destruction maybe she help them to obtain a lot of power or something and now she feel responsible and rebuilding khaenri'ah and it's people
And also when we first crashed on teyvat we had our original powers and knowledge and our twin must have help them to develop using our power and knowledge
khaenri'ah didn't believe in any God's.
So God's must have feel threatened by their development, to prevent them from becoming a big threat to them and to keep other people under them destroyed khaenri'ah

Wait, when we first saw that sinner, and Eide knelt, we Heard a voice, and after that, a purple smoke surrounded Eide. What if it took the curse off him? And that’s why he died.

This might me stupid but I feel that Caribert is the Kaeya we know today and he wears an eye patch to cover up one of his eye that looks like khaenri'ahn people as he is hulf khaenri'ahn and hulf Monstad.
He did said he wears the eye patch as fashion or as a respect to his grandfather or something long ago.(can't remember correctly)
In the dream the mirror wasn't broken until Caribert broke it

The only thing I would say after playing this game for 2 years is that the Gods mentioned by this guy might not be the ones we know…because honestly Venti,Zhongli and Makoto don't give off that kinda vibe u know…because what the gods did to kanriah'ans is pure unfiltered evil…I cannot picture Venti,Zhongli and Makoto being like that..!!!

For anyone curious, the voice actor for Eide/Chlothar for this quest is Andrew Russell. He’s voiced another NPC in Dragonspine previously, but has not voiced any playable characters yet. Fingers crossed that HoyoVerse gives him a permanent role for his stellar work here.
