Should you pull or skip Hu Tao in Genshin Impact? Well Hu Tao is stronk. Hu Tao also has the MOST Caveats out of any character that Mihoyo has released in Genshin Impact. Hu Tao is as weird a unit as she is weird in personality.
She has the stance and Cooldown management aspects of Childe with the Stamina management CA playstyle of Keqing with the HP management and 2 rotations caveats of Xiao with the selfish support desync of Klee along with the complex combos of both of the last two combined with the marriage to XQ of Diluc and with the situationally useful ult of ZL and Ganyu.
She is literally the Exodia of 5 star Carry Caveats.

  5. You should record those discord calls, edit as a podcast and release.
    1. There's always need for moar content as a creator
    2. There's an audience for that type of content – showing the process of how the sausage is made and content that comes out closer to new character release.
    However, there's a CAVEAT.

    It needs to be in a different youtube channel. The way the algorithm works, since the audience for such content is expected to be lower than the main content, it can actually make the channel less popular to the algorithm. The platform may promote the channel less if there's a lot of podcasts with low views.

    The upside is that you can expand your influence to more platforms like Spotify and iTunes. Reaching a new audience and being promoted by more algorithms. Making you less dependent on youtube and twitch.
    Idk what's the scene of genshin podcasters. the competition may be lower than youtube and twitch, meaning there's potential for growth.

  6. hi jinjinx and tuna too^^ thanks for the information, i already have a well invested diluc,but i dont enjoy his playstyle that much(even with the new dragon strike wombo combo and my recent adquisition of wolfs gravestone), i struggled to know if hu tao would sastisfy my playstyle but after seeing your video and with quite a time of discussion of the cds of the team with my friends in this past weeks(and with the case that i already have bennet c1 and venti; quite important facts for me personally) you made my mind clear,apart from enjoying her personallity and appearance i think i will quite enjoy to learn the šcaveatsšof her , thanks for this kind of videos,and please please,dont push yourself to much,with this quality and time investment of videos,im happy with wathever content you can output^.^

I feel like most of these caveats really only apply to newer players and alot of f2p are also excempt to most of these caveats not just whales, atleast the f2ps who played religiously since launch, i know this cuz i have no issues anymore about artifacts since im at the point where the only thing im doing is farming to increase the roster of heroes i can play since i already have 8units with all +20artifacts and atleast 9lvl talents for most dps i use and all my supports Burst at lvl 6 (some E at lvl 6 but mostly just lvl 6 for Q) and i have this on both of my accounts 1 which is a Welkin Moon Holder and the other completely F2P. The only real issue i have to deal with on Hutao is her Auto Targeting with CA which is obnoxious and that its true shes mostly a single target dps but she kills things wayy too fast anyways.
    Also is she really harder to play than diluc? I find Diluc Dragon Plunge Way harder than doing charged jump cancels with hutao. And i also find diluc harder to play cuz hes slow so i dodge more his unga bunga combo sure is EZ to do but in practice its not i find myself dodging so much or getting interupted mid animation that i have to keep using zhongli/diona plus the new diluc plunge that they discovered with alot of claymore users i find wayy too dificult to perform while practicing yet alone do it in actual combat with an enemy that can fight back. Especially in abyss where hello? Whats ur shield gonna do when it will inly last 1-2hits especially in the current abyss 12 where the enemies hit so hard u want to dodge everyting and for me diluc aint cutting it hes too slow let alone dry to do the plunge. With that discovery of new playstyle pretty sure diluc is not the unga bunga easiest hero to play and be the top dps in the game anymore.

  9. I've had Venti since the day his banner was in genshin and honestly I've never used him other than to help people in coop. He just offers CC in a game where only weak enemies can be cc'd. Just feel like if anyone is not pulling a really fun and strong character because of Venti to reconsider because if you're in the late game you pretty much won't use him :/

  12. Such a pity Venti is coming after her. I wasn't planning to pull for her, but her character story made her grow on me. But I don't have Venti, and I've wanted the gay bard since I started playing, and I do have Diluc…

  16. Farmed up to 18k primos and 24 Fates to get C1 Hu Tao plus Staff Of Homa, I gotta say, even with all her caveats and requirements, I don't have much complaints of her, she's just too fun to use.

    jokes aside, if you have the fear of power creep and think hutao's gonna get power creeped, yes she will, but so will all the other future characters, then you'll never pull a character. you can do everything in the game with your starter characters anyway including spiral abyss. if you like the character pull em, if you need the character for your team pull em
    her playstyle is fun, managing health, trying out different comps, diana, ganyu, whatever, encourages to use shield or heal characters, and i find it pretty interesting to find ways to fill up my E downtime, such as using my sub dps, like ganyu E and her charged attack, or pulling out other characters to apply elements and buff like mona xingqiu venti to lay out your stuff before her e's back. or just her infinite charge attack, i'm having a blast with that, i pulled her c1 and the weapon banner (i got qiqi and wolf's gravestone btw T_T tho i got the c1 really soon after qiqi)

  21. miHoYo is doubling down so hard on caveats that they're going to release a character that instantly destroys all life forms in a one-mile radius with a single button press, but a pebble thrown in your general direction will immediately disintegrate your existence into smithereens and uninstall the game from your hard drive.

  25. Whale doing a f2p showcase: "Aight so I put on a R5 4* weapon at level 90 and some shitty spare artifacts for a nice 80:200 crit ratio, 160ER, 200EM, and 2500 attack. Now lemme just drop zhongli, albedo and Bennett buffs and you'll see this character is very strong f2p."

  32. I already had Klee but still pulling Hu Tao since I hate Klee's slow gameplay and fuck that CA timing and shits.

    Now my Klee is just a salt machine to my friends who wants her but ain't gettin' it 😂

Thank God all the 3 dps that we have..have there caveats and its pretty impressive that all of them are balance thank u mihoyo for doing this for us f2p and low spender..sick of all those powercreep this powercreep that..jinx thank u for reminding us that this game is pretty well balance in a way..

  43. Got hutao and homa and so far i really enjoy her playstyle that requires skill to achieve her damage ceiling + she is voiced by rierie in jp dub. Only deal breaker for me is the need for xingqiu and i dont like xingqiu as a character(like personality and character design i think he is super great meta-wise).
