  1. I think Mutahar (SomeOdinaryGamers) explains pretty nicely why Hoyoverse don't give a damn about player's opinions. He just need one video (he released recently) to put down any of this drama that is kinda pointless.

Listen to him, now I done too with Hoyoverse and Genshin. Wishing to move on to something that doesn't related with those two.

  2. Hoyo is like the blizzard of gacha games. Started with something amazing and now they're just milking it. Only difference is hoyo went to the milking process much quicker than blizzard

  3. They are already developing another game? A standalone teapot game at that?
Can't they just sink their money in their already existing products? I mean, ZZZ is not even out yet and the game already seems dead. It's really not looking good.

  4. Hoyo had farming mini games in Honkai Impact 3rd in some limited events. It was fun and really cute, but the chibis in HI3 are really cute.
HI3 has a lot of different types of gameplays in their events, way more than Genshin or HSR. In the past few months, there was a marble throwing game, farming sim, fall guys clone, candy crush clone and others I am not sure how to describe. They're not all hits but they are fun enough. Also they have a skip button.
Anyway all that to say that they take a lot of inspiration of other games and genres, and they're a very big company so I don't think they're stretching themselves thin over making another new game.
As I remember, they already have GGZ, HI3, GI, ZZZ and Tears of Themis that are active games. Stretching into another niche genre is not farfetched.

  5. I am currently downloading Honkai Impact 3rd I am going for a different approach unlike what I did in genshin and pgr
in genshin I skipped through the story and pulled characters that I regretted and I did the same in PGR I enjoyed using the skip button and I pulled for a character that I was able to get for free just by grinding no I can hardly get pulls for Crimson Weave

  6. I have a feeling that this is a plan of david jiang to take ownership of genshin. Coz back in the day he did the same with HI3. after hoyo creating genshin david shifted cai haoyu to genshin and took ownership of HI3. The reason for this kind of roundabout method is probably bcoz cai haoyu cant be kicked out of the company directly.

This is my theory I just thought MAYBE this is the case. (atleast I hope so)

  7. Iโ€™ll only have hope for Genshin at this point if Cai leaves to the next game and leaves David in charge once again.

Why Cai wants to be so involved to the point he actively ruins everything, I will never understand. Yes he owns most of hoyo, but that doesnโ€™t mean he has to make decisions to this extent. Just do what other CEOs do and leave most of the work to others.
Ironically, he actively shows Chinese pride, yet the most important anniversary of china (being the lunar year of the dragon, AKA the year of liyues archon, the representative for china that they went as far as to actually fix his gameplay) is the one he purposely decided to mock everyone and make people hate the game to the point CN players are revolting.

Way to dishonor the country you love, Cai. Iโ€™d go as far as to say he purposely wants to insult china ๐Ÿ˜‚

  8. Imagine that this will be a big loss to them. Because let's say they won't ever fix Genshin and the game ends the way it is. Can you imagine how many people will drop anything they try next?
If Genshin ends like this nobody will play a part 2 if they ever make it, and once the game ends they will lose a big amount money. Because ZZZ and other games simply won't do as much. HSR will probably be the only one carrying them and if they stop improving that game too it will be over for them.
So yeah. Once Genshin ends Hoyoverse will go downhill, making them realise what happened just because they didn't improved the game.

  9. I think we kinda have leak about it last year that they're making animal crossing game. And tbh i cant imagine what kind of gacha they will be implementing other then skin gacha like Maple Story. If its good enough, might try, as long it doesn't eat 30gb of my phone space(im looking at u Genshin and Hi3, and HSR soon too)

  10. An animal crossing/Stardew Valley hoyo game? THIS IS AMAZING news?! In the latest stream, the special programm for Part 2, they noted how HI3rd community LOVES these types of events in their game, with Captain's Ranch, basically a farm simulator, being the most engaged in event for the over the past year. As a HI3rd player, I cannot be any happier, as I love the Fall Guys event, Plants vs Zombies event and various Farmville events Hi3rd has done over the years. Seeing one of them essentially be it's own game is good news to me.

Not worried about the costs to have another game afloat and the staff management, I mean it's fucking Mihoyo, they donate schools and invest in nuclear power, they have the fucking money.
The MAIN worry is – does it keep the HI3rd chibi style from the dorm system, as well as dynamic interactions the characters have in the dorm with each other and environment. Bc my soul left my body when I saw how lifeless the characters are in Genshin, they just stand there, don't walk around, don't talk to each other. Why even have the tea pot if it's that trash.
The second worry being – are the character going to be the established hoyo characters like Kiana, Mei, maybe even genshin and star rail charas chibi-fied? If that's the case, and they have unique interactions with each other, constantly adding new charas as new games release, like when ZZZ comes out, we are gonna have Anby, Nicole etc in this game – I'm good.

  11. Yeah this has been known for awhile- Hoyoverse creates more games than they can pay for. ZZZ is still in development. By the time they finish it, there'll be another game in development. ZZZ and this new game will suffer the same as Genshin. More importantly, this is why a Hoyoverse boycott is needed, not a Genshin boycott. Hoyoverse has no incentive to force Genshin team to change when players just go to another game and ignore what Hoyo does outside of two games.
