Nah, I'll be using the Skyward spine even when I get that thing to R5. Just because that extra attack speed will help squeak out one more rotation which helps her out DPS the catch.
ill be using skyward spine for my build while trying to get her BIS weapon, the catch r5 only does 100 less dmg than my skyward spine build

Easily using my Skyward Spine. It's an R0 Skyward Spine though, so R5 Catch might outshine it, even though Skyward Spine is a 5-star? I've been searching everywhere for answers to R0 (or R-anything) Skyward Spine vs R5 Catch, but there's no answers. I find plenty of comparisons for Homa and some others, but not Skyward. Which is really surprising considering Skyward Spine is a semi-common energy recharge 5-star polearm, plus it just ran with the Mistsplitter so there's a good chance a bunch of recent players picked it up. But nope, nobody's considering it.
What's the catch?
I noticed you don't use eula max stacks? Use e-q-n4-hold e-n4 for max stacks. 🙂
I am concerned how viable is JWS to her. I hope it would work out with her kit.

I was sad I didn't get Dragon's Bane for my Xiangling but later came to know there's a Catch.
I kinda wish it wasn't 3 days for respawn points but thats my only gripe for fishing
I was unlucky/lucky enough to get jade spear from standard which I haven't used at all
so baal can have jade spear, but I think the catch would have better worth so i'll probably use that when I get it
Yeah I am excited for the fishing system. Finally some fish for my pond in the teapot. But yes I really want more Inazuma funiture etc. especially sakura, maple trees and maybe bigger ponds, rivers anything with water and I am on it.
For Baal's weapon I already raised starglitter for xiangling. But I am gonna take my time raising Baal. We need to wait for those weekly boss drops anyways.

I have a crescent pike(even though ik oretty sure it sucks for baal) as a replacement until i catch "the catch"
I got the skyward spine so I won’t even bother with the catch. As for fishing, it looks like a nice in game feature for when you’re broke on resin or plain bored. Hopefully it doesn’t feel as flat as the teapot though.
Yeah I'll just have Baal hold my Rosaria's level 90 Favonius Lance while I farm for The Catch

I will be using the battlepass polearm "Deathmatch" until I can get something better.
Mainly for it's large Crit rate main stat and the "always on" attack rate increase on the passive.

I come from Hrvest Moon backgrounds, more recently Animal Crossing, so no problem with fishing
I'll get the catch for xiangling cuz it seems pretty good for her. I think it'll be very good for baal , decent on Zhongli, rosaria etc. Very good weapon of choice for burst support

I hope we can turn the different fish of the minigame into forniture for the house so we can show all our catches on a wall too. Lets hope we can get more activities for the teapot in upcoming updates. Like, we could have cows to milk everyday. I just love farming simulators with fishing like harvest moon and stardew valley. (I remember maplestory 2 had "ranching" in its housing, it was weird because you got horseshoes from horses, but it was fun)

The Housing System is a Meme, i can't even build a Castle with a big Wall around it because of the Building Limit
The Catch is also going to be one of the best in slot F2P options for Xiangling, her ult is going to be even more nuts with The Catch equipped and the extra ER on her without needing an ER Sands is really nice
