  1. Except "building a character" (when asked what character build) is solely about artifacts, not talent level, weapons, and ascensions. Those basics are pretty obvious to people as all you have to do to find those is click on your character menu and look at the character. Artifacts are where they get tricky. I hope hoyo gives players a guide of best artifact sets/team comps for characters, as this so called guide they have released for this is virtually useless.

  2. I looked at it and it's mainly for people that like to copy paste the meta for characters. If you don't have a recommended artifact set or the weapon on a character then it'll tell you your character need improvement. It's really anymore usefull then just clicking the "recommended sets" on the artifact tab of a character

  3. And it only works on the old characters, not the new characters. If you get the new 5 star character basically. They still won’t tell you what the recommendation you need for your artifacts, talents and weapons (i think?) But overall it’s still best thing Genshin has ever added.

  4. Honestly I am AR 60 and I used this to improve my C5 Yoimiya. This is not just for beginners but can help people find gaps in their teams, maybe they need a better artifact with better stats for instance. It’s a great way to assess yourself compared to the player base

  5. The fact that the first thing on the list is level is frustrating to me. Most off-field characters can be end game viable at lvl 60 with ascension. There are a few reactions that depend on level for most of their power, but that's about it. Beyond that, most characters should not be leveled beyond having final ascension done and being lvl 80. The investment is huge and the return is very small.

I would have put weapon level first, then talents, then artifacts, then level. That is the priority that will get you the most power increase on most characters if you have gotten all their ascension talents unlocked. Then if they are on-field characters, the extra levels up to 80 will make a good difference. The entire game is misleading with how much emphasis they place on character level for how little difference it makes

  6. Why? Enhancing Character Talents skill and upgrading level are basically taught in the tutorial

The best way for characters to be good is farm and get lucky and upgrade artifacts and get lucky with rolls
