My heart: I love Diluc. So I think I should level 90 him.
My brain: No need. Even at level 80, any character is strong enough to take on the world level mobs. Plus, the attack value increase is WAAYY TO SMALL. It is much more resin efficient to focus on other things i.e. mora, exp books, artifacts, talent books, rank up other team comp.
Conclusion: I follow my brain

i love his Burst is only 40 energy, its so easy to do his Q compared to other DPS who need 7 or 80 energy to use their Q.

When the first time Diluc came from standard banner to my party, I didn't really care about him because I already have top Pyro DPS, Hu Tao. But then he came again, he made me lose my Eula. Since then I benched him, only increasing his friendship level but not actually using him as my DPS.
Until I got Wolf's Gravestone from standard banner, I took it as a sign that I have to actually use him as my DPS. After that I start to build my Diluc seriously, and now I have lvl 85 Diluc and lvl 90 WGS. I can see that his damage is pretty good.

I think diluc with serpent spine can have around 60 crit rate and 200 crit dmg? So that can see the most maximized damage
