  1. Cryo never went away for me. It's ayaka both sides of the abyss every abyss in some form lol. I was able to c6 her on the extended banner. Excited for skirk I'll do some duo dps thing since I run 3 person ayaka teams already.

  2. Cryo would benefit a lot from a new artifact set. 5 versions in and the only thing that explicitly buffs Cryo Reactions from the Cryo side of things is Blizzard Strayer. Freaking Geo got a new set with Navia’s set incentivizing Crystallize, and the Scroll set, while not explicitly tied to Geo, is part of the reason why Xilonen is a valuable unit on a variety of elemental teams. Introducing a set promoting Melt or Superconduct may not buff all Cryo characters, but at least it incentivizes a new way to play Cryo, since the game currently only supports Freeze.

Also, instead of reworking Freeze, I propose changing the effect on Blizzard Strayer so that it procs the Crit Rate boost when a Freeze reaction happens instead of when attacking a Frozen enemy. That way, we can keep how Freeze works on mobs while allowing it to be usable on bosses, and Cryo characters specialize in rapid application anyways.

  3. Freeze should be updated so that it procs vulnerability (small def shred) and it should slow down larger enemies that cant be frozen. That should fix the element. A new artifact set to go alongside that would be nice as well

  4. Another option for freeze on bosses (that won’t cause them to have to revisit the timing of every fight) would be that frozen bosses have their attack power and knockback/poise damage to you halved. It keeps Freeze as a purely defensive reaction as well.

  5. If the Abyss/Quantum element is just physical damage, I actually expect her to leverage Superconduct so she can be physical. I doubt she'll be a support that can save Eula or anything, she might be able to leverage Mika pretty well since he doesn't have any physical attackers who enjoy his attack speed buff.

Actually, now that I think about it, since Iansan is literally a physical trainer, won't it make sense for her to be a Superconduct-based character as well? We might be getting some Superconduct focus leading into the next region. Which almost makes sense, because one of the things Mavuika gains Fighting Spirit from is normal attacks, so I can see them leaning into that direction in order to give her more than just Natlan units who want her on their team.

  6. I'm making an out of left field guess that Skirk might be a physical carry, since Nord Krai is the next region, which is supposedly an autonomous region, so kinda like Khaenri'ah, which I'd like to think would/is going to be the physical region?
