  1. Whats really annoying is it feels like they're trying to make Genshin feel unenjoyable. They've coded it in HSR, all they had to do was copy paste it to genshin. The previous events are literally deleted content.

I'm not sure if its the Hoyo obsessed Genshin players that keep making up excuses for Hoyo or Hoyo itself. They could easily implement these suggestions but they don't. It's like they specifically implement this to HSR just to say, "we can but we won't".

  2. If Genshin is not open world all of the things in starrail will be in genshin too. People tend to forget the size needed for an open world game, specially on Phone. If its the same as HI3 or star rail all the things can be implemented as well.

  3. Different strokes for different folks. I do like both stories a lot and think they both have their high points. I do wish that Star Rail could get a bit more breathing room for some of the major events for example, but I also think Genshin's pacing system is depressing. I am so annoyed at having Paimon repeat every single dialog in every single worthwhile conversation EVERY SINGLE TIME. It's like.. .Yes Paimon. I was in fact listening to the major story characters talking. You don't need to explain what they just said as if I was a toddler with the attention span of a dog on crack.

  4. I started Genshin for the world building, characters, and the story. Fighting random mobs and solving annoying puzzles is fine. I hate needing to "try" to get certain drops from weekly bosses just to level up my characters. I beat the boss; why can't I get the drop I need, rather than 20+ drops I'll never use. I don't hate the bosses or artifact domains. I just want it to be more fair.

  5. THE Biggest Genshin problem is it has to be playable for average almost "not gamer" person… it is their payable core, they cought a lot of people who didn't play before and if they want their money the game suppose to be easy… all their bosses can be so cool if they was difficult enough.

But it will never happened… I know it and just enjoying the story

BUT it would be fun to get something like a coop domain with random enemies + elites and something like a minimal drop… paints for weapon or something to craft a pet…non game changing for the rest of community and sounds fun

  6. I don’t think it’s that fcked up the person in China who proposed the law got fired. If you propose something, you should have done your prior research. If you haven’t and then there’s a backlash causing millions of Chinese dollars to be lost. Then your head is in the chopping block.

The same can be said of any company. If you are working with a client who has a lot of capital and your decisions as a project manager causes them to lose faith in your company and you lose that client, your superior can totally fire your ass for your incompetence. Assuming you did something wrong that caused it, ofc. And a lack of research can be the cause. Imagine proposing a proposal to a client and causing them to be angry. Kekw. That guy deserved everything he got.

  7. Anniversery?? Well its honkai, i mean i hope it wouldnt follow its sister game honkai impact 3rd when it celebrate its own anniversery, i wont say much but HI3 is really generous in its many celebration events.

  8. “Are HSR’s rewards better? I don’t give a shit, imma go play genshin :3 starts running with lil legs

Is what my brain has been saying this entire company.
I’ll be honest, seeing all the annoying “L+rAtIo” or “GeNsHiN cOuLd NeVeR” has slightly ruined how I feel about HSR for me.

  9. I don't understand why people feel the need to compare the two games. I have played both, and still ply Genshin, while I stoppes playing hsr. Because it's just not my vibe, the turn based combat is meh, relic farming, even with the choose your main stat artifact is painful as fuck, not even talking about some relics being locked behind simulated universe. It has good features, like story events being permanent, and varied endgames, but by God it's a grind

  10. Imo, they are comparing too unfairly, because for Genshin needs to recode a lot of things for the improvement while creating their current ongoing plans, where as HSR can start from 0, plus they can immediately apply the areas of improvements to HSR since HSR have Genshin as an example. (You can see the same for earlier stages of Genshin and HI3)
And my take on why they are having a hard time bringing back old events it's because of the amount of data that is needed. Phone players are already struggling with the memory space and if we kept all the limited time events it's going to be not feasible for mobile. And we must not forget that Genshin is a full open world event when HSR is half turned based and some part 'open world' so the amount of data cannot be compared.

  11. i really don't understand this fixation with the dr ratio thing. people are acting like it's the first time a gacha game has ever given out a free 5 star even though it's incredibly common. sure, genshin doesn't do it but I still think people are making way to big a deal out of it. not to mention I'll be honest design wise hes incredibly lacking. visually he looks like absolute shit when compared to any male character in star rail.

  12. Old cc of genshin highlighted a problem that gets ignored nowadays. A lot of content in genshin is generally building characters. If you're f2p you aren't getting many characters so you don't have much to do but you're still forced to compete daily commissions. It's even worse when you lose 50-50 since now you're depressed and still have to login. Also the video failed to mention the better weapon/lightcone system of hsr.

  13. Of course, the encounter point system could be better, but as it is now, it's okay. Instead of doing a commission, I can alternatively do a reputation request instead. And depending on the event, I can save collecting the rewards until i have dailies to do.

  14. This is not to criticize bran, doro or anyone else but if genshin had any real content(besides building new 5 stars) then most of its cc won't be doing reaction videos and account reviews 90% of the time.
