After 1.1 the game became stale. I stayed until 2.6. tried coming back. Didn't work out. Deas game for me. Lore can't keep me playing this game. Combat is dry. Attacks are slow and depressing. There are 4 heights in this game. 3.5 ft. 4.5 ft. 5 ft. 5.5 ft

Can we face REALITY. This is a low effort update. If the tiny bit of lore we get makes this update good. Golly we have extremely low standards.
There isn't a single person who would want to sit and read books all day. Especially in a game that clearly isn't a LN. There's no diversity being put into at this point. And don't get me started with the mini games. We started off solid, now it's straight up crap and boring. The only reason you even play is for primos let's face the freaking truth here people. If they weren't any primos you wouldn't even come close to looking at the event.
There's more downs then ups in terms of story execution. There's too much unnecessary dialogue that just prolongs the quests for no reason. Not to mention the little bit of actual interesting Dialogue is poorly executed and you can't tell me it doesn't feel forced or uncomfortable.
I don't feel excited for this update. I'll enjoy the tiny bit of story and lore, but everything else doesn't seem remotely fun at all.
No one is denying that the visuals and character designs, music, map expansions are good. That's good, gives something to do and enjoy the scenery. The gameplay on the other hand has gotten an all time low. For a company that makes so much money, this is just sad. And annoying at this point. Also their are still bugs in the game since launch that haven't been fixed, so let that sink in and tell me your standards aren't low AF.

just wanna say, do people still explore and get chest in genshin cuz its so tiring, yes its an open world but having to do all that no thanks and ever since sumeru update i haven't gave a crap on exploration, just wanted to share randomly

anyway, the live stream itself was fine, what really sucked though was how they handled revealing the characters and artifact sets
they used to be so in depth (kinda) with them, but with these two it's like a brush under the rug almost.

TBH I don't see Teccy giving a positive review on genshin before Fontaine's release. The fact that he still uploads genshin videos once in a while proves that even he knows that majority of his viewership (on YT) comes from genshin players and no matter which type of content he uploads, one way or another, he's going to get criticized until he gives complete positive reviews on the game. I really don't care whether he shit talks the game or not, its undeniable how much he has done for this community and I just want Hoyo to add smth in the game that massively attracts Teccy's attention if they want his money.
Kektone I promise genshin will get better and add endgame to please you once you get your hairline back.

I do agree that the game's mid but the content update has been better since 3.0 with them releasing more permanent regions, like a whole map that's even bigger than liyue and monstadt combined, cough cough, Sumeru. If you think end-game content is content, it's not.
(edit: repeatable content isn't "new content" or a real content I would say; new music, new region, new enemies, new story, new mini-games that are usually just decent or annoying, and so on. these are a proper examples of "new content" that can actually get you hype)
Anyway, more than half of the players don't even play spiral abyss. I used to respect you but you're no worst than those guys on Twitter who called you names and such. I've never seen someone this overly negative about a game and not just quit it already. I'm quite certain you don't even want to drop Genshin entirely because your channel is dying when you're not covering Genshin-related content lmao.
So far, I feel that most of the updates are filler after what happened to Scaramouche/Wanderer. And with Honkai Star Rail coming, I can see they’re putting more attention on their new baby than Genshin right now. It makes me a little sad.

I really used to like this channel. Unfortunately, I just can't anymore. Expectations for a game he knows is for a casual audience and heavy lore enjoyers seem unjustified he needs to calm down. Maybe his perspective will change with Star Rail but I really doubt it.
