  1. The electro symbol is kind of the reverse of the mitsudomoe, it's just a different part of the same symbol that is highlighted (the space between the commas). It makes it seem as if the mitsudomoe is intertwined with electro.
    But that is just me.

  2. Isn't it funny how mihoyo is releasing so many bow characters I mean we have yomiya, gorou and kujou Sara I mean what is mihoyo trying to get to
(Also I'm saving for gorou he's so pretty and looks like he would be worth it)

  3. Also they say that the first person from every place u meet represents the weapon they're archons use e.g Amber uses a bow like Venti, Xangling from liuye uses a spear like Zhongli and Baal would most probably be using a sword like Kazuha so the weapon Thoma is using is most probably the next archon's weapon or his country's archon's weapon, also his country will probably resemble America in that case

  4. I’m Japanese. I’m so glad to be considered
Inazuma character from wealth of knowledge about Japan. And, I learned something from your video. Thanks:)

Sangonomiya Kokomi may be made a motif by Otohime, Urasimataro’s character (Japanese old tale). Many Japanese people first impression of her was it.
I’m sorry my English may be bad.

  5. I’m excited for Yae Miko because of her design and she was obviously inspired from Yae Sakura from Honkai (she was a Miko of her village I think) and i’m excited for Kokomi because she’s super pretty and her design reminds me of fish and I love fish

  6. At first I thought that Gorou may be a kitsune but the more I thought about it, I now think that he may be a dog or some sort of canine. Either way, I’m very looking forward to find out.

  7. I feel like Tohma is one of those people who strayed away from his country becuz of some stuff happening there kinda like how Kazuha had to come to Monstadt to look for hiding, im not sure about Tohma's position in the story rn but i think maybe he had a similar philosophy or goal like the Electro Archon n maybe that one other Archon had a different vision for their future that might be the opposite of the Electro Archon so Tohma whose living there found an opportunity to side with the Electro Archon who has similar ideals, through chaos caused during the confliction between the two Archons?? idk any theory u guys :v

  8. People have already pointed this out but Tohma could be a symbol of how the dutch were the only ones who could trade with Japan. He could probably be from Snezhnaya but grew up in or gained his vision while he was living in Inazuma.
Or he could also be from any other region and moved before the Shogun changed, so when he saw all that's happened he decided to join and help the resistance.

  9. so if thoma is foreign, does that mean that its possible that his name comes from thomas??? (assuming he might be more european/american???) if so, i find that really funny

  10. For Toma`s case

There was however a famous White Samurai whose one of his most outstanding physical trait is him being blonde.

William Adams, the English Pirate turned Samurai who is one of main causes for the prosecution of Christianity in Japan.

Basically the Europeans who first traded in Japan and entrenched in it were the Portuguese and the Spanish Jesuits, people who brought matchlock guns and Catholic Christianity to Japan. Europeans from Iberia subcontinent most have black hair and since the two countries were Allies Japanese thought all Europeans were basically all friends (a fact we all know is false).

However, The Samurai Lords(Diamyos) and the Toyotomi Leader (then most powerful feudal ruler of Japan after the Ashikaga Shogunate fell), disliked the Jesuits and Christianity very much due to the threat they pose to societal peace. They only tolerated the Catholic Missionaries due to Gun trade and Western Technology.

Meanwhile in Europe, there was a major Christianity Schism between Protestant powers and Catholic power, where the English and Dutch and their Protestant Allies, fought a bloody war against the Spanish, Portuguese and their Catholic allies.

This was when one of the Dutch Privateer Galleons somehow got shipwrecked to Japan. It was Captained none by the Englishman William Adams with a bunch of Dutch crewmen.

Edit: forgot to mention that William Adam also served under the infamous Sir Francis Drake.

And when the Samurai Lords rescued them, they were first surprised by William`s appearance that radically differs from the Portuguese and Spanish , and secondly and most importantly, William and the Dutch were enemies of the Portuguese and Spanish.

Hence William were seek out none other by the future Shogun that probably inspired Inazuma, Togukawa Ieyasu. A Lord was a mere vassal of the Toyotomi and really hated Christianity`s influence.

When Ieyasu found out that the English and Dutch unlike the Spanish and Portuguese counterparts who care more about Trade than spreading Christianity. Ieyasu quickly hire William as a Samurai achieve Western Technology without the cons of the Portuguese.

Ieyasu then defeated the Toyotomi in the Battle of Sekigahara. Formed the last and final Shogunate of Japan, the Togukawa Shogunate's. And proceed to close the nation off like what Baal did while their only foreign Trade allies being the Dutch and the English.

Fun fact, the English and Dutch even helped the Tokugawa Shogunate in suppressing the Christian Rebellion started by some 17 yr old Christian Samurai by the name of Amakusa Shirou (yes, that guy from Fate Apocrypha).

And Adams even appear as a protagonist in Nioh.

So seeing him who was such an Ally of the Tokugawa Shogunate which is the counterpart of Raiden`s Inazuma , it is pretty hard to imagine that Toma being his Genshin Counterpart, unless Mihoyo is telling us something…

    Hmmmmmm.

  11. Thoma, as you accurately assumed isn't a native of inazuma
his blonde hair indicates the fact that he is a foreigner
you can see this in other anime characters such as all might who lives in Japan but is blonde and originally from America hence TeXas SmAsH
Japan people aren't born blonde so it would be accurate to assume he is from a different nation.
my guess is he is from Fontaine

  12. Not gonna lie, this video is honestly way more thoroughly done and executed than the other video about "8 Things You Missed In Inazuma, Genshin Impact 2.0 Trailer". It sucks that this video got less attention though and I wish this video had more attention
