  4. they white washed candace, the hustorical character on which she is based on is very dark skin mihoyo is terrible and as a black person i am getting tired of this game it is very unwelcome to peopel with dark skin tones and mine is a very common sentiment and is baffling mhy keeps igniring this fact

  8. Cyno seems like a skip if you have Raiden C2+, I suspect he will be a Quicken main DPS. Nilou seems like a Bloom sub DPS. It just feels like Hoyoverse is trying to give us a different way to do damage, but if that damage is weaker than right now then there is no point. The novelty of a new character only lasts for a few days, so that should not be reason enough to get a new unit at this point in the game.

  9. 1:10 actually there has been dancer characters that use other weapons like for example Olivia from Fire emblem awakening, she's a dancer and her primary weapon is a sword.

    As for Candace, I love her design and heterochromia too and I love how she's the first hydro polearm, my favorite weapon type and the one combination I've been waiting for. Based on the background of the drip marketing images Cyno and Nilou are 5 stars and Candace a 4 star so I'm crossing my fingers and hoping to celestia that she's good since mihoyoverse it's been kinda dropping the ball lately in the 4* department.

  10. Cyno is gonna be good just like Ayaka, since he and Ayaka been tease for so long ago. Noway they gonna screw him over. Though I'm not really into Electro character, so he's a skip for me. I'm more into hydro. Candace and Nilou is on top of my must pull, because they're hydro. I'm just hoping Candace will be both on Cyno and Nilou banner.

  21. Candace is dissopointing, if they don't plan on making darker skinned characters then they shouldn't steal their designs and culture, since Candace is based off kandake, a dark skinned black woman, they stole everything in her design, everything except her skin tone 🙁

  23. Cyno is tempting ngl. He was my 1st most awaited Sumeru character because he was shown in the preview. Not interested in Nilou, although her fanarts are quite fascinating to see. Candace who?

  25. I think we won’t get anymore weapon types…. We will however get characters like Miko n tht stick, n heizou n his punching, they will use a certain weapon as main but all abilities will be used by something different, like they can make a whole claymore user tht will have guns haha 😂 if u catch Wht I’m throwing

  29. Gameplay matters to me more for these characters since I don't feel a particular draw towards any of them. If I go off leaks, Cyno sounds fun to play but I would have to see the real gameplay.

  31. I have currently saved over 200 wishes from Welkin & BP. Going for Nilou, and Alhaitham (Su from HonkaI). There's literally 2 Honkai characters so far in Sumeru. Dendro archon is literally same JP/CN VA & character appearance as her Honkai counterpart.

  33. sadly after 2 years of constant waiting for updates dont think i can get any motivation to play this game cuz i know whats waiting , 1 week of sumeru gameplay ,Year of 4dailies,4domains,copy pasted events so like hell nah

  34. Nilou’s & Candace’s kits will probably synergize well. Nilou’s kit is Bloom-focused and she uses sword. Candace Hydro-infuses weapons that will probably enable Nilou to procc more Blooms with Dendro characters. I think Nilou’s best Bloom team would be Candace, and two other Dendro characters.

Surprisingly Nilou is a sword user even tho i swear when i saw her animations first i genuinely tought she's a catalyst,her animations are so smooth and beautiful they look nothing like a sword user should do,they're sort of like Kokomi's backflip animations and such,so smooth and nice like she's dancing with a catalyst weapon around her then surprise surprise its a sword XD.
    Ngl i am not hyped for 5* tbh,i am more hyped for the 4*,Dori is the one i want tho her idle singing is pure auditive torture,Candace looks more like a 5* than more than half of the 5* we have so far in the game for some reason plus all the other 4* look pretty good aswel,meanwhile the 5* look meh at best imo,maybe that's the poor f2p within me talking knowing i won't get any of them anyway.
    What would be extremly neat for Candace is if she would change her polearm(or whatever weapons she uses/is) for a similar weapon AND her shield sort of like Itto switcher from whatever claymore you give him to his unga bunga club and when she is in that state that shield would work like a shield not like a barrier,that would be neat as hell.
