Has FURINA REALLY Done NOTHING for FONTAINE? (Genshin Impact Lore)

The God of Justice Focalors, Furina had personally welcomed the Traveler into Fontaine region unlike any other Archon weโ€™ve seen before. Sheโ€™s loved by her people and plas an active roles in Fontaineโ€™s affairs. But with the prophecy of Fontaineโ€™s people being disssolved into waters, what has Furina done to stop it? Do we see anything at all that sheโ€™s actively doing to stop the prophecy from happening? Or is she just enjoying the courtrooms and feigning ignorance to the impending crisis? I hope you enjoy the video ๐Ÿ˜€

  1. "Every archon we've met so far has done their best to protect their nation"
    Let's see:
    1) Venti fled from the problem.
    2) Zhongli left the problem to his people.
    3) Ei was the F*CKING problem.
    4) Nahida was the victim of the problem.
    5) Focalors is looking for a problem.

  2. splitting herself/having split personalities would tie into HonkaiImpact. like several characters/archons have. Since the story of the hydro archon was said to be based around Seele, who was based around mirrors (and water?) and had two personalities.

  3. I think the world quest with Melusines where you met Elynas and the reading of the mysterious Book (hidden quest by talking to a melusine in their village) will give more clues about Neuvillette and Elynas.

  4. I was always suspecting of Furina. She was too extravagant to only be showing her true self in the eyes kf the audience and Fontaine's people. I believe many often forget but, she is an Archon. I find it hard to believe hoyoverse would create an utterly useless Archon, and this theory with the dissolving waters and split bodies is rather interesting. I'll have fun exploring this theory, and it seems like we'll definitely be learning more about Furina in the upcoming 4.1 Archon quest. โ™ก

  5. I dunno, but am I the only one who actually noticed that the tip of her twintails has been glowing the entire time she's onscreen (at least while in the opera house where it's more clear than when she's outside at the port bcs it is in the shade)? It doesn't seem to be from her clothings, and it even glows when there's no trials (like during the magic show), so I don't think it is actually related to oratice being in use either. Usually, archons' hair only glows when they use their archon power, so it made me thinking if she is just pretending to be cowardly and always put up a front and try not to lose face to not let other ppl know that she has become weak from overusing her archon power, possibly to prevent the prophecy, so ppl can continue to have faith in her, faith which she can cover into her archon power in order to continue her usage of it…

  6. I think we just don't have enough information yet. It's clear that there is far more to Furina's character than the brave image she shows her people, but right now we can't do anything other than speculate.

  7. 2:56 keep in mind that Hoyo has a history lf being misleading in trailers, doing things like pairing images and audio that turns out to be completely unrelated. While she might be talking to Neuvi, it's also possible that it doesn't involve him at all.

  8. I started thinking she must've split herself and that part of her was in the oratrice since Lyney heard a voice speak to him when he went to investigate. but now I'm wondering if this is kinda like with the Raiden Shogun, and the Furina we see and talk to is an oceanid and the actual one is holding back the filth and/or is in the oratrice.

  9. The idea that Furina has multiple clones or that she has identical siblings was a theory I heard on some channels before but now with the 4.1 trailer and Neuvilettes teaser with what sounds like a wiser, less dramatic Furina, it feels more and more true. Ever since I went to fight the dancing robots I noticed that there are 3 thrones surrounding their arena. Why are there 3 thrones if there is only 1 Archon? Could Furina have 3 iterations of herself? I never liked Furina initially but she's starting to grow on me and I can't wait to see what the next 2 chapters of the Archon Quest reveals.
