  1. If I needed ley lines I used to do them in Inazuma because nobushi and spectres. Now in 5.0 at least we get much more drops.

Oh and when catching crystalflies have Yao Yao, Sayu or Aloy (if you have her!) on your team helps trememdously. There's also one statue of seven near Fort Charybdis Ruins and several waypoints there that have crystalflies near them for easy farming.

  2. Recently, I've been spending my condensed resin to farm talent books in Natlan at least 2x daily and just spend regular resin on leylines(that way, I can farm more drops). I like the local legends bit, I never thought of fighting them regularly since it feels too daunting. Awesome vid btw. I didn't realize til now that I never needed to farm any more ores since I don't really build that many characters anymore.

  3. 7:42 Doing artifacts routes is by far the best way to improve someone's account without spending resin. With nowadays optimal routes, we can get around 85k – 88k artifact XP every day in around 11-16 min (127 investigation spots + 18 specials nodes), and the total time depends on your TP loading time + ping + characters you have (Cloud retainer C1 is the absolute BiS for that). Just to compare, if we spend all our 180 daily resin farming only artifact domains, we get around 92k artifact XP fodder from the 3*/4* artifacts. So in theory, an artifact route can give you around 150-160 resin "worth" of artifact XP, which is massive for people who don't refill resin.

  4. Tip: There is a bunch of Tribe Warriors in the cave next to the Artifact Domain in Natlan.

They all together drop roughly the equivalent of what a Local Legend drops and are much quicker to kill, so I recommend farming them after you've finished your daily grind for Artifacts.

  5. I been either used up resin for boss drops or talents or leylines I been focusing on just bosses for characters that need the same drop before looking up a weekly schedule for said character to focus on after the ones I want have 20 drops to be lv 90

  6. So happy you're making this kind of video again! Do you think you'd be able to do an updated artifact and/or elite enemy route too? Been a loooong time since the last ones and I'm sure the new regions added better places. 🙂

  7. This video does too much. Here's what i recommend: 1) Do event or story quest to fill dailies. Claim from Katherine and have one of the expeditions be ore to help fill Battle Pass 2) Spend resin, grab any less common enemies near the domain (Nobishi near Emblem, the 2 near the Fontaine domain that spawns a Mirror Maden by the tent, etc) 3) Check teapot every other day or daily if easier to remember. 5) Hunt / collect what is needed as it is needed. There's no sense in investing the time collecting stuff that won't eventually be needed. The stuff respawns each day, so it's not a big deal. 6) Grab a few crystal flies if you haven't found any along your travels.

  8. I refuse to kill Sappho, not because I have already gotten all of her (his?) achievements and already have enough whistles, but because he (she?) just wants to chill out and play the lute near some animals.

  9. Fun fact, that first ley line spot in Inazuma with the abyss mages? Also near some Inazuma ores, eelmeat, and a total of 8 spectres (6are hidden).

The ley line farming is an excellent suggestion, also for BP.

  10. I'll also add the teapot as well, I do collect the realm coins and friendship then spend it all every monday to transient resin, level up mats and mora or those things you upgrade artifacts on. I also added back farming for artifact fodders since you can just convert it afterwards so it no longer take a lot of space.

  11. I've been playing this game for 4 years and never knew there was a limit to "investigate" thingy. Well, i also never really done it specifically, so it's understandable.
Specters route is weird a bit for me, bc i do it backwards. Basically i jump off that place where 3 specters appear near electrograna, then go back to where 4-5 geo specters spawn and continue to go along the shore until the very end of the isle, and specters appear there from thin air all the time. Also there's a place on the Watatsumi isle, where they appear on the shallow water at the north east of the isle (you can see two there floating around, but there're 3 more) and if you go a bit further to the small isle next to that spot you'll find a 3 rock formation and a fire flower between. Jump on any rock and 3 more specters will appear. Yeah, i farmed those things a lot! Luckily they're easy to kill these days. They got nerfed a lot as well.

  12. Brilliant!

Your idea of using key lines for farming without using resin never occurred to me! Also appreciate that Fontaine crystal fly and local legend ideas, I could go on…sincerely your guide is so practical and easy to understand and not overwhelming, even if I don’t do it all, doing some at least makes so much sense and keep the routine fresh and unique.

Really amazing presentation, fantastic delivery, and usefulness, thanks so much and great work!

  13. One thing I'm perpetually short on is Ruin Guard mats. That having been said, there's quite a lot of them out there, so setting aside the option of making Zhongli's lil fuckups a daily stop, it's probably easiest to just spend an hour or 2 just running around using the interactive map to farm all the ones you can somewhat easily get to.

Tbh I am at the point where I have most of the materials I'll ever need (though you're right that whopperflowers I usually don't have very many mats of, since I tend to avoid triggering those when I see them). One reason for that is, like you said, I've basically made it a habit to farm Leylines of any new region that comes out ever since Inazuma came out, and it's been a huge help

  14. You missed a spot for Whopperflowers,, in the northwest of the watatsumi island there is one pyro close to the waypoint and if you continue in that direction youll get find a ring of 6 flowers where 3 Whopperflowers spawn

  15. Damn this brings me back to 2.X days when I would spend 1-1½ hours per day doing artifact investigation and elite (for blue and purple) farming runs. Just could never get enough fodder to raise my artifacts. That's still a problem to this day, I calculated that I can raise about 15% of my level 0 artifacts in my inventory with the fodder and potions I have right now lol, but there's no way I'm going to do that grassless, resinless behavior in 2024 💀

  16. I'm guessing you don't know you can find 7 specters in Sumeru's forest, theres also 3 in the desert…? (3 isnt worth mentioning unless your desprate).

Its kind of hard to describe where they are.
I would recommend checking Sumeru in the interactive map to see the location of the 7 specters.
I found them by chance when hunting fungi.

  18. yeah, I don't mine ore anymore. I just send someone on an expedition to get ore (which also completes the daily BP mission) and the rest I just send for Mora cause that's the only thing there that has a resin cost to it, kinda. Haven't had to farm Mora in a while thanks to that and being AR 60.
