UMMMMMM I did this as a Christmas celebration so if you don't like this reaction then you hate Santa, Jesus, God, Krampus, the Elves, Santa's dumbass wife, Buddha, Zeus, Odin, Allah, Master Chief, Doom Slayer, Raiden Shogun, Hentai, yourself, babies, humans, the concept of life, being a weirdo, drinking something that isn't bath water from a streamer, feet pics from the Genshin girls, laying in a pile of your own waste from too much Genshin gameplay, laying in a pile of your own waste from too much Genshin porn, and pizza.

You pick either the male or female "traveler" at the beginning of the game (in story, they are twins named Lumine and Aether) and this is the character you play the entire story as, though in combat and exploration you can use any four of the characters you pull. The game is very lore and plot heavy and as a female player I'm always kinda shocked that it's known as a "pervy loli game" amongst male gamers, since everyone in my circle plays it for the lore, combat, and hot guys.

  13. i know you're just surprise with the way that sounds 1:12:56 but please be careful with how you laughed and talk about it, some people might think your mocking or making fun of how Chinese opera sounds. specially how other people mock yunjin for how she sound at her first appearance on the trailer/ingame. it's hard to sing chinese opera , it takes a lot of training and year of hard work and some people just make fun of it.
    Heads up each like characters and region is based of real region like Mondstadt is based on Germany.
    Liyue is based on China.
    Inazuma is based on Japan.
    Sumeru is based on South Asia and Middle Eastern countries.
    Fontaine is based on France. So a lot there's going to be a lot of different traditions, like qiqi she's based of a chinese folk legend, yunjin with chinese opera and more.

  14. LOL I've seen too many reactors think Venti is a girl. It doesn't help that his VA is female lol. So don't worry if you were confused by Venti's gender. He's 100% male lol. FYI, I am making this comment right after you watch Venti's trailer.

    One thing to note here, not EVERY Genshin char gets a trailer. Certain chars from the first 2 regions (Mondstadt and Liyue) don't get them, but AFTER that every region's char gets a trailer. Chars that don't get a trailer can still show up in others trailers. Like in Fischl's trailer you saw Amber show up and she doesn't have a trailer.

    Here's a quick little note about the Elements, corresponding regions, and the real life country/region they're based on you see-
    Anemo- Wind – Mondstadt – Germany
    Geo- Earth – Liyue – China
    Electro- Lightning – Inazuma – Japan
    Dendro- Plant – Sumeru – India, Middle East, and Egypt
    Hydro- Water – Fontaine – France and Italy
    Pyro- Fire – Natlan (region not released yet) – Mesoamerican indigenous regions and Spain
    Cryo- Ice – Snezhnaya (not released but gets mentioned in Childe's trailer, he's from there) – Russia

    The game gets frequent updates. When it was first released in 2020, only Mondstadt and Liyue were released at launch, Inazuma got released in 2021, Sumeru in 2022, and this year Fontaine got dropped. 3 more regions are supposed to be drop in subsequent years. Natlan will be next year, Snezhnaya in 2025, and the final area (not posting for spoiler reasons) in 2026. So yeah I feel bad for future reactors because this playlist only going to get longer. I think reactors will have to start cutting videos in half because we still have more coming lol.

    Oh there are 5 types of weapons- Sword, Bow, Catalyst (look like books or a floating object), Claymore (big sword), and Polearm (spear). Depending on the character, their weapon can change when they activate a skill or burst (think super move).

    You start off as the Traveler, and you pick between a pair of twins- Aether (Male Traveler) or Lumine (Female Traveler). You have the option to chose their name btw if you don't recall. I was just stating their official names. You get 3 free chars in your party initially- Amber (Pyro bow user), Kaeya (Cryo sword user) and Lisa (electro Catalyst user). You have a 4 party system and you switch out your chars. Every other char you have to get on your own. Some can be free, but others you have to 'roll for' in the gatcha part of the game, while a few you have to earn in the Abyss Spiral (it's like a dungeon gauntlet).

  15. Tbh I didn't have high expectations when watching this video but it actually turned out to be a great reaction video. I really like how you paid attention to the details in the video and read the small summaries shown. You remembered a bunch of stuff and made connections which is nice. This is already better than most genshin demo reactions that I've seen. Another great thing is that you weren't streaming this, most genshin demo reactions were when the reactor was streaming and chat tends to usually be heavily biased and misinformed which personally annoys me. But I genuinely enjoyed this fr.

    With genshin you start off with the beginning cutscene and the first character you play as is between two twins (the traveler) Aether or Lumine. And after that you're given 3 more starter characters (So Amber is a starter character you were correct.) Pretty much after you choose your main character the main plot is travelling through Teyvat to find your missing sibling after having been separated in the first cutscene.

    There are 7 elements in total and 7 nations to correspond with said element. And there are 5 weapon types in genshin and every character can only use one specific weapon (Swords, Bows, Claymores, Catalysts, and Polearms.) If you want to learn more about the characters abilities I'd recommend the miscellany videos.

    Also I wanted to add that some characters designs for their kits or appearance are all based on the culture that their nation is based off on. Like around 1:12:30 Yunjins demo. She's basically centered around Chinese opera so very different from the opera you might know. All the nations have mixed cultures tbh.

    Some of the trailers are short and not as cool as some because of the characters difference in rarity. The nicer trailers are usually five star characters. (Some characters don't have demos rip)

    I'm overjoyed that you enjoyed the demos btw, genshin is one of my fav games. Would love to see more reactions for genshin fr I'm starved of reaction content. Maybe more specifically the teasers for the characters. <33

    no bad blood here, good sir, even if you did want us to lose in the game awards >;)
    would definitely like reactions to version trailers, character trailers, story trailers, maybe even the collected miscellanies.

  20. @1:24:24– You actually already met Ayato's sister. It was Ayaka, who you saw near the beginning of Inazuma's char line up. She had the fan and Thoma (the housekeeper) showed up in it. Don't worry about forgetting names, I've seen other reactors ask who Ayato's sister was. It's a lot to take in when watching all of these trailers at once. FYI, in regard to Thoma, being a Housekeeper in this case is a powerful position because they take care of the whole estate (the Kamisato Clan is considered Nobility in Inazuma and are very powerful. It's a position that is head by someone the leaders trust.

    Daggers aren't a 'primary' weapon in this game. If you see anything like them it's from someone's skill.

    @1:57:42– LOL there's a reason for her being 'over a 100', but she's definitely not the oldest playable char in the game. I won't say who, but the oldest playable char that WE know of currently is 6,000 years lol. And this char still looks like they're in their 20s lol.

    @2:04:01– Fun fact, the VA for Cyno, Alejandro Saab, he has his own Youtube channel and yeah the 4 VAs are friends IRL, so they have natural camaraderie lol. Recently they had an ultimate Uno battle lol. I haven't finished that video because it's long, but it's been fun watching them play. Alhaitham is my Main char at the moment in the game, so I am cheering on his VA lol. Also Alhaitham is my main Husbando in the game, I love him lol. I have several other Husbandos lol.

    It should also be noted that chars are divided into 2 categories- 5 star chars and 4 star chars. As a rule 5 stars are suppose to be rarer and 'more powerful' than their 4 star counterparts aka harder to get. 4 star chars have shorter demos then 5 stars. That doesn't become clear at first, but it definitely does by the time Inazuma drops.

    @2:19:37– Lyney and Lynette are siblings, I think they're twins, but I haven't gotten to Fontaine yet and I can't remember if that gets mentioned in the trailer that features them. Freminent is also a sibling of theirs too.

    You know it's weird, I never saw Navia's trailer but I did see the one that just dropped for the next playable char, Chevreuse (4 star Pyro Polearm user, skill involves a musket). Navia has just become playable.

    Glad you enjoyed these demos. If you do want a clearer understanding of the story, you can watch the Version Trailers. Keep in mind that those trailers also cover temporary events in the game too.

  22. 1:13:01 In cultural context, that was just a vocal warmup, given that the style of she refers to and is meant to pay tribute to being is Kunqu Opera, so yeah high notes a plenty. And yeah, this got laughed at a lot during the announcement livestream and in some reactions, prior to the reveal of the true performance that was come with that version update, with her singing voice being done by a professional. But I’d say your reaction was one of the more tamed reactions, for someone green to this style of opera.

  26. (Spoilers) Ok so for Layla’s one when she says “me? Sleepwalking Ofcourse” she basically has a really energetic alter ego that she doesn’t know about when she goes to sleep which is why she’s so tired. The alter ego is meant to be fairly energetic and helps her with her papers since layla is always indecisive and questioning her answers

  27. Aye great vid, it would be chill if u could react to my “type-moon(fate) all trailers” playlist. It’s a cool multiverse franchise on the scale of marvel but is actually the strongest franchise in fiction.(refer to my type-moon DB playlist for proof on that) the main series is also animated by demon slayer’s studio
