  1. I am totally excited that we’re going to get our first male catalyst user,I really thought Beizhu was going to be the first male catalyst user before any 5⭐️ or 4⭐️ characters but this is definitely a opportunity to open the door for more male catalyst user and melee characters.

Honestly I never cared as much about doing extreme big numbers with any character the only thing I am interested in is gameplay for any new character and reading their kit.

I like his design but I think the color scheme seems to be off and doesn’t scream DETECTIVE but overall I really exited for Shikanonin Heizou.

Heizou and Kuki might be the only two characters that I am going to invest into them until we get more appealing 4⭐️ characters.

  2. That's the problem, we want to use 4* as DPS, but their dmg multiplier is low compared 5*(obviously).. and idk if his final NA when he's floating will cause players to no able to dash, just like Ayaka and Mona, there's 0.3-0.5 sec delay before you can dodge back after use sprint/dash. Hes pretty cool, but I will assume we will get a better version of him as 5* melee puncher when Sumeru came(that tan Shota from old Genshin videos roadmap).

  3. I would actually only be pulling for him because one, the thought of someone in the game using martial arts really do intrigue me. Two, he reminds me a whole lot of character I really like in an anime(Ranpo, from Bungou Stray Dogs). Three, his idle animation really sealed the deal for me. Four, His hold elemental skill, it’s just `chef’s kiss.` Five(I will literally not shut up about this), him defying gravity while doing martial arts, funnily enough, gravity can be a huge factor when it comes to martial arts. Lastly, I do take quite a liking to his design(at least in game, because the official art is uh, we don’t talk about that).

Thank u for listening to my TedTalk. For anyone that’s also planning on pulling for him, I wish you the best pulls! 😀

sidenote: My f2p primos are aiming for C6,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, ye he is a four star, but unlike 5 stars, they have a guarantee ;-; AH WELL, imma hope for the best for this cool new character.

  4. I had the same concern with him being a 4 star :/ i don't have gripes with his design. he just looks like an inazuma inspired airbender lol. but i don't want it to be a yanfei situation where it's a decent DPS but will be outshined by any 5 star DPS's damage.

  5. I mean this is a Chinese company making a Japanese outfit 2 different regions, and what American peeps come to expect, asians might like it, I think his design is pretty neat but I'm a casual type myself and that there, he's a 4 star, your typical 4 star is never flashy so to me it works, but yea go ahead, be critics but at the end of the day, it's again wear, and yes 1 thing right, his style is awesome

  6. Actually he can put on VV and Swirl for off field DPS units like hydro (Yelan and Xingqui, Fischl and Beidou) and he replaces Sucrose in this role offering more personal damage in a tazer team. He looks more fun atleast than Kuki and Yelan

  7. His kit looks niche , his animation looks awesome. Just like any other character he's gonna be on hype and will be storage once players see on damage Numbers isn't great . heizou is a bandaid to the current game state to the boredom that player's feel.

  8. Tbh I feel like this character is already screwed. He looks dope ash and I like him but the issue is is because he’s a dps, 4 star on field dps are terrible. The multiplayers are bad, the depend on MORE 4 star supports. And he’s gonna be forced into the swirl meta. Tbh I was way more for him being an anemo shredder or anemo booster. I’m still gonna get him and play him a lot, but I’m just extremely disappointed cuz xiao will never have a decent support now

  9. they’re probably just testing how a brawler can hold up to the current meta before they commit to a 5*.

If he’s a total flop the backlash from a 4* would be way less compared to a 5*. Just look at the backlash from thoma vs yae

  10. Just play Honkai Impact if you want martial arts melee characters lol

Genshin simplifies everything right down to Raiden Shogun/Ei design is inferior to Raiden Mei's (Not to mention Shogun/Ei's smaller 'assets' too)

  11. Kagura and Skyward Atlas are gonna be better, Kagura for the crit stat and Atlas for the high base attack, atk sub stat, and elemental damage. As for 4 stars The Widsith and Solar Pearl are gonna be best for the crit stats and useful passives on both (em passive might even be decent considering swirl), and then obviously if he’s built as a hybrid driver in taser comps TTDS will be the best

  12. The anemo characters can be a pure dps or pure support only but i don't get heizou thing like his elemental skill and ult are looking pretty useless and the atk ratio are very low so he doesn't look like a dps or even a support and i really want hoyoverse to give us some good anemo character cuz they are really fun to play

  13. i mean we dont have content that needs anything more than a 4 star dps lmao i dont see this as a problem since the abyss is like all there is so yeah it like 98% doesnt matter just have fun
