Genshin Impact has amazing combat… but the further you get in the game, the less any of it really matters.

  1. its just me or i think when F2P request alot of feature and get mad about some boring event, tht's so DUMB, like WTF why r u mad even u not spend money on this game, you will not lose even 1 dollar, its make sense if u spend money at least 1 dollar, than u have a reason to complain. HOW DUMB 🙂

  2. The only "challenge" I'm facing with the new event is that my teams are killing enemies faster than they can span in – I end up spending about 20 seconds waiting for the game to register that they're dead and new ones have to be spawned in.

  3. This is a shit take. I am not looking to spend lots of time fighting shit in the overworld for dailies or farming materials. I agree Abyss is too easy, and they should add more floors. But man, my biggest complaint is how shields just ruin characters, no matter how strong your artifacts are, how powerful your guy is, a klee will NEVER kill a small fire slime, that shit feels terrible. Should be a reduced damage, thats fine, full invul is fucking terrible.

  4. It's funny. Everyone is spending so much time, effort, and resources/resin into farming and upgrading the best Artifacts possible, but the closer you get to your goal, the less fun the game becomes. The stronger you get, the easier it is to kill stuff.
I've also noticed the sheer amount of complaining there is about crappy Artifact RNG from the community (myself included).
I'm starting to think we should just chill out and forget about Artifacts min-maxing altogether.

I've experienced a Huge drop in difficulty in my account recently. Here's what happened:
I had Ayaka at AR7 after a lucky re-roll, and didn't play the game up until recently. Ayaka being from Inazuma, I could not Ascend her or upgrade her talents at all. So I was making my way through the game with an "under lvl 20" Ayaka (didn't want to cap her at lvl 20/20 because I'd be wasting so much experience. I think she stayed around lvl 13-15 with a 3 star sword). I also kept all my other characters at lv 20 max, and enjoyed every bit of it. I made it all the way to roughly AR 35-36 before I decided to go to Inazuma, and with a Party under lvl 20, no artifacts, and no 5star weapons, even the lowest lvl mobs were quite a challenge. Don't even get me started on bosses…
Once I reached AR45, I decided to start farming Blizzard set for my Ayaka. Spent almost all my saved up fragile resin and didn't even get a decent set. Frustrated, I stopped farming Artifacts and just decided to upgrade some of the somewhat "usable" pieces I got.
Now my Ayaka is lvl 60, with Crappy Artifacts (but a 4 piece blizzard set nonetheless), and everything just dies so quickly and easily.
I think back to the time I had my "way under-leveled" Party, and regret upgrading and leveling them. I think I should have simply kept them at a low level. This way, every quest and every group of enemies would still be a challenge, and it would make the game a lot more enjoyable.
Sure, I'd like to get good artifacts and weapons and see some Big Numbers on my screen, but I know if I ever get to that point, the game is gonna be even more boring than it is now.

This is what I'll try (and what I can recommend to anyone feeling the same way I do):
You can keep farming your artifacts if you enjoy that, but don't equip them onto your characters. Keep your characters where they are at, give them some Artifacts that are "just enough" to survive, and try to play the game that way for a while. You can also give them a lower level weapon to further reduce their damage. Wait for future Updates and newer Content down the line, and hope that there will be some more increases in world level and difficulty. Maybe at that point you can start equipping a good piece here and there, but not all of them. Heck you can even try to play without Artifacts at all.
Just make the game challenging for yourself 😉

  5. Feels like world events are balanced around lvl 60 starter characters and floor 12 abyss is balanced around the powercreeping moster 5*'s.

This event gets it almost right with the self-correction part where it's responding to your damage by throwing more shit at you, kind of like zombies in CoD where at some point the fight becomes unbearable, this event (my fantasy) could throw a big monster and trash mobs every rotation to feed you energy and gain points in the meantime of slaughtering the infinitely scaling respawning raid boss, but instead the clock runs out and that's it, fun time over.

  6. hmm there are speedrunners and casual gamers hmm maybe try to play like a speedrunner i think it might be fun?

edited: wait holy shit I’ve got the answer WHAT IF this GAME was LIKE “destiny” you know the one with guardians (you know what i mean) cause in destiny there are content that are for f2p players but there is also content for players who spend money and i think this game should be like that were when your f2p you can not access DLC’s unless you pay rn or if they give it for free in the future cause the problem with genshin in there are 2 communities rn and people have so many mixed opinions and so many contreversial topics. but what if mihoyo made all of us shut up by showing that they literally OWN this game and nobody can fking mess with them cause we can fking rant all we want (tbh i rant all of the time about genshin being trash/good) and how bout mihoyoverse just do somethin phenominal to make pepole like me who rant shut up like in destiny. (I am not a destiny player I don’t care if you believe me or not you can talk shit about me you can praise me you cant disagree or agree I just don’t care I just wanna play genshin as a hobby and care more about my life not playing genshin and investing more time in the real world.

(I know I just made a f*king essay or someshit but I don’t care I just wanna rant cause I’’ bored and I happen to have a bit of free time don’t worry it only take me minutes to write dis sh1t I don’t waste my time writng a rant essay for an hour)

(in the end i dont really care if you care or not imma say this again i dont care)

tip: try to invest your time more in the real world instead of genshin i know there’s a pandemic but is genshin all you have? there are tons of hobbies that you can do instead of wasting your precious time on a fking game like cooking sports aritmethic anything)

(shit after reading my comment myself I fking can’t believe I wrote this LMFAO)

  7. honestly the only good event in genshin is the one that u can max out the boss for the max point, like I'm full f2p and I have done floor 12 and took me less than 6 min for whole floor 12 like this game is so EASY that makes it boring

  8. I feel like Hoyoverse should add like a "Tower Challenge" where you clear floors of enemies and as you progress, the floors get harder. Every time a floor is cleared you get some rewards and maybe even get "x" amount of primogems every 5 or 10 floors cleared. Most mobile mmo rpg games have this feature and it's really fun and really puts your teams to the test.

  9. Easy for you that you have perfectly built characters that are in the meta. If I don't like a character regardless of meta, I will not build them. I bet even with a well built Ningguang, he could half ass build her and deal more damage than my Ningguang. It's sad really. And my Ningguang is the only character I have fully finished, minus a better circlet.

  10. I stopped playing Genshin after I realized it was just a character collector for casual players and was never going to change. Even in the event in the video. The primos are on the first tier of rewards. The rewards get worse as you score more. Made easy as possible for casual players.

  11. There is not really any rewarding systems in the game. The combat either feels too easy or things just have way to much health and no difficulty for no reason.

The artifact system is beyond discouraging. Been playing since launch only have like 2 artifacts I'm really happy about the rest are just meh.

The combat is becoming more and more of a chore juts due to the fact the enemies aren't hard they just backpedal for the entire fight.

  12. the feeling is mutual…… spiral is challenging but for me its kinda boring especially when i dont have the character tailored for the spiral abyss reset … the harmonic event is more fun coz every team member you have visible contributes to win …..not saying spiral abyss is bad its just that the new event sparks something the abyss dont

  13. Who the f usess q on open world. I would take soo long to daily quest.if Mihoyo level the treasure plebs they will level ei sinyora as well. And people already die there. We ne variety contant like abyss but open world should not be dark souls. As u might not majority of ar 55+ acc r filthy casuals. They r not gods like us. They still run def hat on ei and hp on ganyu. Mihoyo is casual frndly.

  14. idk but this is applicable to most games, hitting the ceiling makes games boring especially so with gacha games where you are rewarded the more you spend. HOWEVER, they need to still keep it friendly for new players. Mechanics-based combat events like the parry event and the arcade style vibro-crystal event I think are good events to cater for all types of players which says a lot about how hoyoverse is starting to focus on the player-base

  16. This is why I refuse to progress or to spend 6 or 8 hours in this game, this game is amazing just the way it is right now, but to get to this point where there’s absolutely nothing to do? What a horrible existence.

  17. I want more world levels and more floors for spiral abyss if we're gonna make content harder bc while I 100% agree the games too easy I also want to actually have some reward for fighting harder/tankier enemies.

Edit: Ok that was probably one of the worst takes I've ever heard about Honkai lol, I know he's only level 70 or whatever but Honkai is infinitely harder then Genshin and actually takes some level of skill to do good in which is something Genshin is lacking almost entirely.

  18. Yeah, I don't think this game will ever be hard. Even they make the enemies harder to kills, hoyoverse are going to be very stingy with the rewards which makes the challenge unworthy to do.

  19. Anyway have a good day, bye bye!! XD
Genshin isnt fun anymore to me they kill my hype on every turn… even with this new event I didnt enjoy it probably cuz they already made me way too passive toward their content!
