Uh I watched the video and felt something missing in your captions. After thinking I understood there is missing one important thing I liked in these kind of videos. You weren't telling the progress of characters between versions, which was an effort I feel precious in your videos.. Why? Ignoring how people trashtalking and disrespecting each other in many discussion, this infographic from spiral abyss always interesting. I'm happy to see kokomi and shenhe appeared on the list.
Also I would like to share my opinion of how you can also clear this abyss with non meta unit. Any yanfei main maybe? :v I 36* spiral abyss with her C6 in the first half. Not the easiest but experiencing new gameplay always interesting.

why???? why does everyone, like literaly E V E R Y O N E say that xiangling is viable??? go to the database and turn off bennet, then she's gone. i know she is free and everyone has it, but that is not a justification to not mention bennet in her team, she tied to bennet just like hu tao with xingqiu. and yet everyone being copium and said she is the most needed character, or, she is the "have to built" character… i dont hate xiangling, but please tell the caveats…

I'm really tired of seeing comments about Kokomi's ownership percentage rate. They always use that argument to put Kokomi down. So I'll use the same logic for a popular character.
Let's use Xiao as an example. I think he's a lot more popular of a character compared to Kokomi. Hypothetically speaking, let's say there are over 100k Xiao havers out there. But his spiral abyss usage rate is only at 50%. That will be like there were 50k Xiao havers out of 100k who have actually used him to conquer spiral abyss. But what about the other 50% of the population who didn't use him? Why didn't they use him despite being a popular character and a strong dps at that? One reason is that, there is probably a more relevant character to be used compared to using him (Xiao). If we're going to acknowledge the fact that there are actually more people who used Xiao than Kokomi in terms of population, then we should also acknowledge the fact that he isn't relevant enough for this spiral abyss for having 50% of the Xiao havers not playing him at all. It's true that many people still played him, but it's also true that half of that still chose not to play him as well because there are more relevant DPS characters than him. Does that make sense?
Now let's go with Kokomi. Hypothetically speaking again, let's say there are only 10k Kokomi havers out there. And 69% of the Kokomi havers actually used her. That will be like roughly 7k Kokomi havers out of 10k. Why are those 7k people keep using her? Obviously they are not stupid enough not to utilize her because she has many potentials as a support. I don't have to name every single potential she has, you have to search that on your own. That just speaks that she's that relevant among those 10k Kokomi havers. Then again, hypothetically speaking, if only more people have considered pulling her, raising the Kokomi haver population as high as 100k. I'm sure her usage percentage rate wouldn't drop dramatically and she'll still stay higher than 50% because of her capability as a flexible support.

Feels great to be off meta. I see these players needing to min-max their team comps with Bennett or National comp, needing other 5stars with max constellations/R2-R5 weapons or min-max Vape-Melt reactions to full clear the abyss. Here I am Traveller main DPS'ing my way into 36 stars with 5 stars and 4-star teammates with decent artifacts who don't even need constellations, to 36 star full clear. Supercharge and Freeze maining like a god. Barbara,Rosaria, Noelle and Diona are my amplifiers/shielders/healers btw.
I will honestly admit that I'm sad that the Traveler in any element isn't featured in this list. Even though they can be used I do feel like they were poorly designed overall.
I skipped Albedo, Itto, Shenhe, Xiao and Ganyu just for
Yae Miko and Raiden Shogun (with their 5star weapon if possible)

Uh, weird. Where are you getting this information from? Because where I get my information on Abyss character % use, the top 5 are: Ayaka, Xingqiu, Bennett, Kazuha and Kokomi.
PLEASE SELECT TWO GENSHIN BGM FOR Xingqiu and Benny Boy!!! They are the only two without their own BGM in the list.
