  22. This has been stewing in my brain ever since I read the title
    tl:dr, HalaCG is a genius, but we already knew that

    Of a few layers my mind has made for that title, most of them actually revolve around the characters. One is how each individual character is, well, individual

    They all have distinct designs that reflect each of their unique personalities. People who have never played genshin could look at the characters and guess their personalities pretty well just from looking at the design alone, MiHoYo got them THAT good(1*).

    Also kind of related is how 99% of the playable characters have earned a vision, basically a blessing from one of the seven elemental gods(they’re called archons in universe) for impressing them sufficiently. To get them one typically has to be a very distinctive personality, as if one never would get another like them
    (…haha-I’ll see myself out momentarily)

    And the one all the genshin players have been waiting for, the actual character system in game. Genshin is a gacha game, which is basically gambling for characters. The house usually wins here too, gacha games are notorious for not giving you any good luck. While the title is a tad out of place when talking about characters in the gacha, you do get characters it’s definitely not impossible, it’s not far off the mark especially for the higher rarity 5-star characters

    (1*) If you’re looking for proof, search up some variant of “my friends react to genshin character” or “my friends ship genshin characters”, I know Koomaxx and ColeyDoesThings did those videos and Aru Hiseki’s design analysis of Yoimiya really shows how much thought goes into Genshin’s character designs

    Now that’s over, once again thank you HalaCG for yet another banger. I liked how powerful the hook was and the shifting rap styles were really cool. Plus how you managed to sprinkle references in the lyrics like chests in Teyvat is frankly astonishing, and it all flows so well even with all that! What a great time to be part of the internet that we get to hear your work
