So like you've probably already seen, there is A LOT of Genshin story. So i recommend 100% focusing on videos around the ARCHON quests – these are the main story quests of Genshin Impact. And they can be LONG – highly recommend the following two channels

-MaL has single videos detailing the archon quests themselves (27 videos with varying length depending on the quest) but if they are okay with you guys reacting to them i think they would be your best bet (and as of posting this they have made videos of the story up to v3.3 as v3.4 has JUST released)
i DO NOT recommend watching only cutscenes because you will be lost, have no context and it probably wont be as much of an enjoyable experience

That lore dump video is probably more for old Genshin Impact players. I got a feeling that non-Genshin-players might feel too overwhelmed and confused after watching all those things without the context of what happened in the game. Visually appealing still.

The second trailer is patterned after an interlude in commedia dell'arte (all of the Fatui are using personas based on the stock characters created in that style of theatre) when the players basically halt continuing the play to instead comment on the state of the play and its plotline. (Thus the comment on "foolish theatrics" for the benefit of a "captive audience'.) In this instance the term "lazzo" seems to mean all of them are behaving in ways that would be very stereotypical if we'd in fact seen enough of them to know that: they're all performing canned responses.

You know what's good for game reactions? Door Monster. They do sketches mostly based on games and they're brilliant.
Just quickly, the characters shown in the Travail trailer are not the gods that are being talked about, but they play an important part in the chapters shown before them. We as players are currently are able to play from the prologue to the (currently assumed) end of chapter 3 and we'll be getting chapter 4 at the end of this summer. We basically get a new region/country to explore and discover story and characters from annually at the end of summer each year, and that's when a new chapter starts too. The chapters are split up into acts to spread content out over the year with limited-time event storylines sprinkled in and sometimes interlude chapters which reveal more pieces of story. Each nation/country has 1 main god that can rule over it if they choose to, these gods are know as archons and each has a special connection to 1 of the 7 known elements.
In A Winter Night's Lazzo, it gave us information about 2 characters we see briefly in chapter 2 and characters that had only been hinted at and spoken about in dialogue before that animation came out. All of the characters shown in A Winter Night's Lazzo are known as Fatui Harbingers and are the highest ranking members of the Tsaritsa's (ruler of a nation/country called Snezhnaya and won't be seen until chapter 6) army. The Tsaritsa also wasn't the one being laid to rest in the coffin. And a key sentence I want to remind you of is one of them saying "We will seize authority from the gods"; it'll be good to keep that in mind. for these characters.

You guys will enjoy the game when you play it. Me, I'm sort of barely getting anything done now, as the next part of the story or even the side quests, I'm sort of struggling to finish. But don't let that deter you from the game!

The queen, aka the Tsaritsa is the God who "has no love left for her people". She wants to dethrone the main God with her people

There's a TON of story in Genshin, but if you can find videos that focus on the main archon story questlines, that would be for the best. But many of the cutscenes in the game and even limited time events have been amazing to watch.

genshin impact has cutscenes in their games! they are usually in big story quests called archon quests and there is a video that shows you all of the archon quest cutscenes so you can react to them and understand the game and have a look at their nation better!
(Just a personal preference, you can ignore if you want to)
If you are going to end up watching the story cutscenes, then I agree with Maxor when I say I would at least recommend not watching them with the English voices. I’d still watch regardless, but I personally just don’t think the English sounds natural.
