Anime version might be telling about the past story, couse we all know genshin has a lot of lore from the past, before traveler arive in teyvat
i think it will be a serie of movies showing the adventure of Lumine and Aether on Teyvat BEFORE they meet the nameless goddess

Anyways maybe this anime might feature the twin's travels before they met the unknown god and the archon war, since they may have some problems in featuring the current main timeline in the game. That's just my opinion

It's not just that Genshin is getting an anime, no no. What's amazing is that they got the fucking ufotable "unlimited budget works" studio to animate it. UFOTABLE. I am so happy they chose to make an anime because honestly they just can't go dark in game due to the 3D animation style.. I really hope we're gonna see blood and more graphic scenes in the anime cuz the in game is really disappointing to me. Especially the Inazuma arc, I expected the game to take a marvellous turn. Just how wrong was I

I feel like this gonna be Prequel more than follows up of the story in-game since it's a series. Genshin Prequels Lore is SO MUCH MORE to be packed and i hope it'll be adapted.

If they follow the game canon, they should follow Aethier as he’s the main protagonist.
And considering they’re announcing this as a “long term project”, I’m not 100% convinced this will be a “seasonal anime” – meaning it would be a series not bound by seasons. For instance, Black Clover did this (they separated it by season after the fact for convenience, but it’s not a seasonal anime – it was considered weekly).
The fact, that it's Ufotable doing this, makes the HYPE all the more exciting. LET'S GOOOOOO! 😁😁😁
