  1. Ei was not meant to be ruler. She was a warrior, a soldier, a commander but not a ruler. That was her sister, Makoto's job.

Faced with the loss of her sister + the sudden need to act as the ruler/shogun/archon of Inazuma + having a very strict and skewed view of what eternity should be compared to her sister, resulted in the current Inazuma.

  2. Scaramouche's Story is literally Bohemian Rapsody:

Mama, just killed a man (Ei has killed many)
I see a little silhouetto of a man (I mean, he's the shortest of the Harbingers)

Scaramouche, Scaramouche, will you do the Fandango? (That's where his name came from)

Thunderbolt and lightning, very, very frightening me (Archon of Thunder and Lightning)

But I'm just a poor boy, nobody loves me (Ei is his technically mother but did not love him)
Beelzebub has a devil put aside for me, for me, for me (Ei's Archon name IS Beelzebul aka Beelzebub)

    But hey, That's just a theory…
    A GAME THEORY
    Thanks for reading 😉

  3. The line I personally like from Yae Miko is the one along the lines of "Who cares if Inazuma stands for eternity" cuz she's right, the only ones who would care would be the people of Inazuma themselves – who're not happy at that moment. The Heavenly Principles is indeed irrelevant. They revered the Raiden Shogun despite all that because she's the one who saved them from the calamity and yet due to stagnation, no progress have been catered to which is really bad for a society as it will hinder necessary growth.

  4. The Raiden Shogun (or Ei) had good intentions, but as always with those in power, they get tunnel visioned. After losing her sister, she just didn't want herself or her people to experience more loss and tried to keep it in some sort of stasis. Suffice to say, "progress" will happen one way or another.
The way I see it. Nothing ever stays exactly the same. There's gonna be something different about something or someone in either big or small steps over time.
And now she sees just how far her people's ambitions can go. And she at least still has some company that can help her. (referring to Yae Miko, of course)

By the way, someone else brought it up in the comments here and made a very good point. You never really knew the backstory of Signora and how her death here will spark something. I will be including it in the next playlist before you start Sumeru.

  5. These gotcha games story based on male MC! You can choose a female character but! It just makes you confused! Because sometimes in story they call you (he) even if you pick a female MC!
But anyway, love the reaction ❤

  6. so far each region's archon is dealing with trauma in their own way. venti acts carefree but he runs away from his responsibilities and drinks too much. zhongli was slowly worn down and got tired of dealing with everything over the thousands of years of his life until he wanted to pass the responsibilities on to others. ei lost most of her friends over the years and then her sister and so she retreated from the world.

  7. hoyo devs have a habit of unaliving certain tall blonde female in all of their games lol.

not surprised at all personally when I played Genshin after Hi3rd and I recognized the similarities, not to mention it continued in HSR as well lol
