Me being Ar 55 watching a beginner's guide…it is a good guide!
Just enjoy the game and don't spend your fragile resins until you reach AR45. Focus on levelling characters, farm exp books and mora when you're lower AR. Also don't use primogems to refresh resin.
Bonus: If you intend to stay as a f2p never ever start buying welkins bcs things just go downhill from there LUL
If anything this game is an experience first, research later. Get lost in it then bother to search up guides, go at your own pace, all good things must come to an end, dont rush.

I played the hell of this in my first month.
But it eventually soured on me.
I wanted to explore, but the game kept gatekeeping me through next-to-impossible bosses in really obnoxious arena fights.
It felt like I had to min-max just to keep up with the difficulty curve, using characters and abilities I'm not interested in.
It's like two games in one, with one of them sucking.
It's such a shame.

get Kazuha, Bennett, Zhongli, Xinqiu, Xiangling, Ganyu, Diona, Venti, Raiden, Ayaka, Hu tao.
great guide for new players. tho i would disagree with not pulling in the beginner banner since i like some players did get lucky enough to get good 4 or even 5 star characters in that banner like fischl and bennet and even diluc which are great characters in of themselves
something i wish i knew as a beginner player was not to listen to tierlists. granted, i started rather early so a lot of those tierlists were skewed (and therefore might not be anymore since we're farther into the game) but i would still recommend not following them. everyone is going to have their own opinions about a character. play the ones you like, whether it be their design, voice, personality, abilities, element, meta value, etc.
That's a really good video for new player.
Guys enjoy every thing in the game most importantly farm a lot lot lot. At some point you can invite people who can help you while doing domains so don't be scared to ask for help, we all got into that at some point. If you see anything while walking running gliding take it, it might help you in something.
If Spiral Abyss is hard at first, try to farm for artefact you will see that your caracter is going to be strong by time. Don't over do it too cause it's only a game i personnaly don't want you all to be bad because of a game
I started playing Genshin 2 months ago. I did the the AR (Adventure Rank) ascension at level 25 which increased my World level (difficulty). please do not make my mistake. I had level 28 characters fighting level 40-45 monsters.
I even sat AR 25 for a while for about 3 weeks . Knowing it would get harder but I did the quest required for ascension with no trouble and I regret it. You can use the Hero’s wit to level up but spend your resources wisely so don’t have to waste some.
I’m at AR 33 at the moment. I definitely learned my lesson from ascending early.

I was new and knew about this but I rolled on noelles banner since I knew judging by my luck i roukdve gotten a polearm or claymore 4 star
Genshin's tutorial system is extremely underrated. It's nicely integrated into the story and the game teaches things as the story progresses instead of bombarding information all at once with massive walls of text.

Take the time to make sure all your characters are great and can do atleast 1-2k damage

Very important to remember to play who YOU want to play. Don't allow other players or Genshin media to make you feel bad for who you like to main or comp. If you like the players, go for it. Just have fun!

I disagree with the tip that says don't wish on the beginner banner. For one, you are guaranteed Noelle, and having a claymore early is super valuable. Two, it costs less to do a 10 pull. Three, you CAN get a 5 star on the beginner banner if you're super lucky. (My sister somehow managed to pull Keqing AND Jean on the beginner's banner on one of her accounts!) Four, you don't necessarily need to use primos to get acquaint fates bc occasionally you'll just get them from completing quests and stuff.
And also, from personal experience, I got my main dps (Razor) on the beginner banner and he's been carrying my team to this day.
