  1. As long as their head cannon isn’t the narrative a writer/dev officially goes with, they lose their marbles and resort to defamation and harassment. If they don’t like a skin color or outfit of a character, they could just mod over it and if there’s no decent mod, commission one but they never will. It’s about their narcissism and them getting away with such bullying. Good on miHoyo to ignore these entitled clowns and even throw jabs at them. They can take their own advice and make their own Genshin. Learn to code.

  2. its funny that twitter is making a stink about the color of people skin like actual racists , when there are bigger issues with the game such as gameplay, and quality of live stuff we have been asking for, FOR YEARS AT THIS POINT. but nah, "i want colored people." is the biggest issue in genshin for twitter lol… news flash, genshin dose not care about anything na want, there focus is china. also not a real place, and the red heads from nat are white so like……………………………….. uh…? yeah..? lore wise it makes since. id say it would be pretty racist to add in a bunch of black people in the tribe area.. just like games always giving black guys dread locks.

  3. What you heard good about American culture was the marketing. It's a legacy brand culture. The old USA that found by the fathers is gone. Now it's these things – not quite man but wearing the skin.

I swear they brought something back from the moon.

  4. I mean pretty valid critisms if you fckin take character inspirations from real life people or gods who were suppose to be black and white wash them every fckin time lol. People want varied character modals and color palettes. Being from middle east, what they did with sumeru playable cast in terms of color was laughable lol. Genhsin has world wide audience and people get excited when they see next region being representitive of their culture, relegion, music or mythologies and they do an amazing job in all except skin color. Thats not me being sjw cause i do not give about that crap. Its reasonable to ask and people have all the right to be angry. Not every thing is about sjw you fkn wierdos. Try to open your minds a little for once.

  5. These people dont care about the game or the plot of it. If they did, they would have read the lore which state that all of Teyvats nations came from one culture, ONE CULTURE. Which means one people, one race. If they had black people, it would mean that they made black people evolve from white people. And you bet they would cry racist at that too!

  6. Americans do understand the difference between fact and fiction. The extremests just have what’s important backwards.
“These people will treat fictional characters like they’re real, and real people like they’re fiction, and get mad at you for knowing the difference.”

  7. People back in the 1900s were accusing book readers of being P-words if they read The Little Mermaid because of the age of the mermaid character.
In the end, it's just a work of fiction but its the stupidity that's as old as time.

  8. Remember when some people said, the Orks from Lord of the Rings symbolize Black people, therefore Tolkien is racist?
They want to be victims, desperately. And if the demand outruns the supply they jump to the most ridiculous conclusions.

  9. People in Asia are much more openly racist than the blue-hairs know. Restaurants will simply refuse to serve you, or they'll tell you there are no more seats when there are obviously plenty. Some shops will even put up a sign that says "Japanese Only" or "No Whites." A K-pop star was recently ridiculed on social media because her tan made her look Filipino. China removed Chadwick Boseman from Black Panther movie posters.

    These morons have NO IDEA.

  11. Yes, people were freaking out about fairy tales, going back all the way to Victorian England. That's why the stories were bowdlerized for the original Disney animated films. This is what "Disneyfied" and "the Disney version" meant before the 2010s.

  13. Those people totally forgot that the Liyue and Inazuma, which is supposed to be Asia region, all have majority white skin characters. Apparently that's fine until now because the new characters aren't black.

  14. The annoying part is it isn't just Twitter. The subreddit for Genshin that has dorky artwork for fun (like terrible hodgepodges, or fun color swaps. Like a character got a skin and everyone was remaking it with color schemes with other characters type of color swaps. Or "X character with Y element"). Aside from a few "cursed" ones here or there, we've gotten so many posts of just people darkening the characters. They've been announced for like 2 days. We have enough darkening posts to last a few weeks. We're at the point people are making satire response posts of giving characters purple or green skin, it's so bad.

Like, this new region is sporting tribal elements with modern fashion that comes across as Pokemon Gym leaders. Why haven't we've been getting quality recolors of like the one girl that looks like a cross between May and Nessa in each color scheme? Or recolors to look like older characters with similar design elements? And those aren't "creative" examples to what's usually on that subreddit.

  15. I'm not sure why people in other countries keep doing this weird "Americans freak out over art" thing when I can literally look up banned TV shows, banned movies, and banned video games in various other countries. We're not the only ones who do it. I never see videos telling Russia, Germany, China, India, Japan, Israel, Afghanistan, Italy, France, etc. to stop worrying about fictional content.

Btw, no I'm not some woke person who cares about Genshin Impact. I'm mainly referring to his opening statements about Americans.

  16. And yet I see you people cry out whenever they blackwash a character like the little mermaid.
It's not about political correctness, i couldn't give less of a damn what gringos think and try to be offended on our behalf.
It's not about "representation" or any of that commie nonsense, if you are doing to do a nation based on mesoamerican culture, with our symbols and flair, the least you could do is respect the culture you are using as a basis.

You people criticize, correctly I must add, when ubisoft pulled out the Yazuke thing, but this is where you draw the line? Bunch of hypocrites dear lord
