Anyone here has this game as their comfort media, but ironically hate playing the game? When I see videos of this game, it seems much more fun and exciting, but playing it stresses me out. Most quests are overly easy, some things I get frustrated figuring out and I have to look up tutorials on YouTube, and it makes me feel like I don’t really accomplish anything myself. There’s only a few (barley) funny lines and most of the characters quests are so boring. To be fair, I’m an f2p and I also played in single player for the vast majority of it so I never had those fun level 90 character fights with 4 friends. I also was finger tapping my screen constantly to skip the dialogue. It is EXTREMELY LENGTHY and annoying and Paimon just irritates me to an absolute extent. She’s not even a playable character, and I know the point of the dialogue is to sell you characters, so why does she need to talk so much? I’m not saying get rid of the story completely, but just remove all the unnecessary parts. Also, I feel like fans fabricate the story and characters too much and it makes this game seem better in their heads than it actually is. For example, Zhongli and Childe are pretty well acquainted, but the fans make them seem like they are more than just friends. Like Zhongli has a very serious and boring personality in the game, stop letting your imagination with him messing with Childe wander so much. There’s even so much MMDs of them dancing and Fanfics, and plenty of other yaoi shipping content, and so much more beyond all of that. The new Fontaine area just came out, and there’s already dirty drawings of the new characters. Why won’t people realize that hentai is carrying this game. The community is not good, either, just little kids and weirdos.

I used to play 3 hours, but i get some rest and go touch some grass. I really think the game is good, but is js getting worser especially the shipping community.
this game never did anything right.. everythign sucks and is designed to test or patience to the point of rage quit .. nothing is designed with ur pleasure and play session time in mind . literally the only thing they nailed in this games was the characters and some of their lore shenhe for instance.. but everything else is dull and repetitive. the mission are a joke the plot is not even worth mentioning it. u can either play the story that test ur ability to stay awake how boring it is or the fact u are supposed to be on this epic quest to find ur sibling and confront this unknown god instead u do world quest that has ur main character 95 percent of ur journey be everyones errand boy doing the most trivial shit that has me wonder if i didnt accidently put on dora the explorer or some dumb shit. the events they drop have game modes in them that a 5 yr old can do if u hand them the controller. enemies coppied and paste with 1 voice liine that gets old real quick, from the weakest unit to the bosses in the game everyone can animation cancel u can stagger u and break ur guard. which feels god awfull every all that grind to get on of the strongest units in the game only to be treated like a punk by a goddamn treasure horder that doesnt even have weapon looks out of shape but can still do all these things to ya. every fight plays the same aswell. the abyss doesnt test ur skill or how strong ur team is it test ur patience. i can pull whatever character i want whenver as many times as it takes to get them even c6 them but why on gods green earth would i do that .. there is nothing to do with them. its either dailies u can do in 10 min with the start team the game gives u or the abbys that test like i said ur patience not ur skill or strenght no one does that game modes for fun they do it for the primos so they can get the next 5 star they want its to a point that if mihoyo turned this shit into a farm simulator where u just water plants all day in the field and plant ingredients ppl wouldnt care cuz all that matters is the characters. they put a pile of diarrhea and vomit onto a plate with the picture of a 5 star characters and ppl eat happily like a chocolate souffle. it just sucks on and on. noithing is designed with fun in mind which is why when this game goes offline imagine the pit in ppl gut they will feel after spending all that money and time with these characters only to never experience anything fun with them at all u just do activities for materials and primos cuz u have too and then hopefully get the character u want to repeat the cycle. its a joke if u took off all the missions and just gave ppl unlimited primos so this would be a character simulator where u just walk around with them ppl would still play cuz its the only decent part of the game the characters u get to play with if u are lucky cuz everything else is beyond garbage.

Well the moment DFFOO started accelerating global events I anticipated the closure. So I tried out Genshin Impact. The characters were cute the world looked beautiful….
And I’m gonna be honest; it’s a pretty okay game completely ruined by Gacha.
And this is coming from a Gacha Player.
Having actual play styles locked behind the Gacha system feels really really bad.
In Blue Archive I feel a lot better about the Gacha because while they do give you a lot when you pull characters; it doesn’t stop you from finding a playstyle that you enjoy; because the game isn’t about the combat it’s about the strategy.
It also makes getting SSRs you DONT want feel much better since Blue Archive asks you to dig into your character pool for later events and missions.
I went in lukewarm towards GI. I left genuinely hating the game.
So long story short; I’m playing Black Desert Online again. 🇰🇷
I fully agree, played the game for the whole first year, I sporadically come back, the game always tempts me with new characters, I get some incredibly insane luck whenever I come back. And its sad because I CANT EVEN PLAY WITH THEM because you need a whole year to build your new characters. This game could be f2p, its really cool to combine new characters and try them out. But you just cant do that because its impossible to have enough built characters. Fuck the character rng the exp/artifacts/gold/materials (aka resin) are the real thing that kill genshin. Its so sad to see how good it could be
Burned out with Genshin too, even if they updated with the fancy Fontaine patch. I've just been playing for 2 days every month (every 15th and last day) since I wanted to have time for other games that I want to play and to do other things as well, like plan art commissions.
I've started playing Bloodborne and it's so refreshing from Genshin! Persona 5 and Persona 3 Reload are on my list too!
I got bored of doing stuff like collecting materials and doing commisions everyday for months everyone gets bored of doing the same stuff everyday right? Like it feels amazing to wash the dish the first time but a few dozen times later it will get boring. And new updates are just like more chores

Right about now it just feels like we are only being greeted with quests that are just cutscenes full of uninteresting characters just drinking tea and eating food WHILE THEY ARE RATING THE FUCKING TASTE OF IT AS WELL. Nobody cares about that. The first time playing, you were greeted with a Dragon or when you started playing the 1.2 Event Quest with Albedo, that was really cool. But right now I just feel like they ran out of ideas tbh. I want action scenes and not fucking food scenes.
I am a 1.0 player and I have seen dudes get to ar 60 in a couple months. I haven't even finished sumeru. No matter how many character-based emails they send, I still cannot get back into this game.
