  1. Stix, you are wrong here. Genshin is still the #1 gacha game by a very wide margin. The stats you are referenced only collects genshin downloads and revenue on iOS and Android (outside of China). This is only a small portion of genshin's total downloads and revenue across PC/console and the Chinese region.

  2. Tbf genshin is at weakest lately because most of them are only rerun especially Ayaka rerun, her banner stays the longest because they stopped updating for 1month If I'm right due to strict lockdown on Shanghai.

  3. Absolutely no one that has a single fucking idea whats going on in the gacha game industry was surprised by Genshin being dethroned by Uma Musume because it’s ridiculous popularity and how the position actually fluctuates between the top games during big/popular content releases

But as to be expected from the guy that played Artery Gear for “6 hours a day” for multiple days before realizing auto was a thing somehow

I think awareness and reading skills that lacking is honestly almost as impressive an achievement as the things laid out in this video

  4. Congrats to the developer. Genshin has been dropping steadily over time for many good reasons. Shame, because it was really fun in the beginning.

  5. Been playing Uma Musume since day 1, though have kinda set it waay aside for DB Legends, 7DS and FFBE. Have to say it really brings back fond memories of raising stats in Tokimeki Memorial 1 and 2. Making this an idol slash horse raising, dating simulator is really a genius combo by Cygames. A well deserved win.

  6. Genshin impact was dethroned… In may not counting CN. So it seems like this video shows may stats instead of June. Problem is that may was actually delay month for genshin(end of ayaka normal duration+3 additional weeks). Not to mention is seems to ignore CN revenue completely which is kinda dumb? I mean CN for genshin is like JP for uma lol.

  9. With Genshin 2.8 and the anticipated revisit to the Golden Apple Archipelago new version with floating castles and then Genshin 3.0 Sumeru update with new Dendro mechanics and characters being released finally right after, I’m sure Genshin will be right up there at the top again …
it’s going to take something like Blue Protocol or something similar to really take on that juggernaut machine longer term.
After playing CBT for Tower of Fantasy and if they don’t make necessary changes to it before full release, I even doubt ToF will pose a real threat … besides the fact that Genshin and ToF are really two different games. I do believe Genshin needs a healthy impressive competitor to shake things up for the better for Genshin and games like it but that yet seems not to be happening any time soon imho … 🤔😑

P.S. Grats to Uma Musume on that notable achievement though … credit where credit is do 😁

  10. I mean b4 mihoyo became that popular… The gacha overlord itself was non other than Cygames… Kinda happy that the company step up again or even continues to grow even after popular titles takes over it..

  11. I like the game but this time I couldn't get guarantee for a banner I wanted, which didn't happen before, so that sours things a little. Always felt like they gave a lot of free rolls.
