Even tho I am not offended, personally. Don’t you think it is a bit hyopcritical of you (and the owner of the video) to assume such things about quite plenty of people solely based on which character they like the most, and still complain about how judgemental and close minded the communitee is. As much as I like to insert “you became the very thing you swore to destroy” meme this is quite literally the root of the problem. The community blaming others first before looking at themselves. I for one met and played my share of poeple in this community some of which indeed mained Xiao yet they were in fact all helpful and nice people. All and all what I am trying to say is, if everyone just tried their best to be positive and supportive of each other in the community there would neither be unnecessary drama or any kind of negativity

I don't watch this channel much so I honestly don't have anything against him, but I honestly wonder, is he okay? Because every single time I've come across a video or clip of him he talks like his hyperventilating and looks on the verge of a mental breakdown. It also feels like at this point he's playing Genshin more to not let the buyer's remorse sink in after spending thousands of dollars than actually having fun.

man genshin was so much fun for me the first few months when exploring felt fun and levelling characters was something that felt appropriate and satisfying. Everybody just liked the game for the game and were chill about it. Now everything just feels sad and the community is beyond saving.

I play the game so much and rarely run into the crazies in-game like we see on Twitter daily. There's a big difference from normal-ish players who enjoy the game and fan content out of passion, and the "players" who are chronically on social media preferring to stay stuck in fanon fantasy who have nothing better to do than to screech it out to the world.
I also wish for the day i can say i like Genshin without immediately being looked at like i could be one of those obsessed "fans" who go after real people over fictional characters.
