Genshin Impact but in 120 FPS

you can “force” record past 60 frames in obs, allowing higher FPS values which will again, “force” a framerate even if you cant/dont achieve it in-game. Yes, FPs unlockers exist, I know but I don’t use those as its against rules and can lead to bans. Below is how you’d achieve this framerate recording, and it can be used in literally any instance, any game, anything.

settings – video – choose fractional FPS Value on drop-down
Numerator: FPS desired to record (60, 120, 240, 600, 1000, etc.)
Denominator: 1. Always 1. Never anything else.

“YouTube only allows 60FPS????”
I know, genius. The way the video is rendered with Gaussian Frame Blending (Sony Vegas 16) allows the showing of consistent frames, essentially “frame ghosting” I guess. Example – watch older CoD MW2 videos. Remember all that horrible ghosting you’d see if the creator didn’t disable resample? That’s exactly what this is, just on a cleaner scale. I’m not sure how to explain it, but seeing the raw video footage, or even rendered video footage doesn’t seem to show off 120FPS correctly. YouTube’s encoding shows off the framerate more correctly. It’s the same way you’d either record 1080p then render to 4K then upload or record and render 1080p and FFmpeg to 4K then upload. The way YT works is weird, but it works. It’s all artificial upscaling and framerate. Nothing more, nothing less.

  1. I kinda find genshin at 120Hz or 144Hz honestly not the best experience. My laptop's GPU is not fully utilised and the 1% lows are just very noticeably different from the high refresh rate that the game can run. Even though 70-80 FPS for 1% lows is still higher than 60FPS, the stutter due to the drops are just annoying and so it's not great to run in my opinion. It's better just to have Reshade work on genshin so you can have anime-like visuals and reflections at a smooth 60FPS

  2. So i could actually do this on my ipad, but there was a lot of lag and glitches and i play for long periods of time so i just decided to stick to good old 30fps
