  1. I will be doing a channel update explaining my plans going forward with the channel soon.

If you're wondering if I will continue to make Genshin content or not the answer is: yes, I will be.
Will it be lore? There is a possibility I will do lore in the future still, I will explain in more detail in a video though.

As for this video, if you think it accurately explains the situation, then be sure to share it with people, as it'll be a huge help for me going forward.
Thanks to all those who have stuck around and waited patiently for me to post videos again, I'm sorry they've not been as positive as they should be. 👍

  2. I play since games launch, i wanted to be a low spender, welkin + BP every month, i feel thats a reasonable amount of money to give a company for a game you enjoy and theyre delivering content on regular basis. Then i learned about all these hacked accounts, and decided to be 100% f2p. Im not gonna spend money every month on something that could just be taken away from me, and then waiting god knows how long to get it back, or maybe even never. Also, the prices in the game are absolutely ridiculous. What is it, like 400-500 dollars to get 1 character and their featured weapon? Its INSANE. No matter how rich you are, for that price you can get a PS5 or a new good GPU. Its a scam. Then time went on and ive seen where Mihoyos priorities really lie, money only. They only care about it. They dont fix problems if fixing the problem doesnt make them more money, or if the problem could potentially loose them money – they fix it, look at Raidens skill description. They shut down leaks and hunt youtubers because its bad for business if people know what to expect, so why would you expect any communcation from them or any roadmaps? But hey, make fan art for us, share with your friends and maybe we give you 100 primogems, promote our game for a spit in the face xD I knew not to expect anything in terms of rewards from them, but i thought that they would at least make it known in-game that theres a celebration going on, look at lantern rite, the decorated cities, events etc. There is a anniversary going on, and it just feels like any other week. I still like and enjoy the game, but i will never give Mihoyo anything, theyre one of the most predatory, greedy and egoistic game company ive seen, and ive seen many.

  4. Yeah, I agree. In my opinion this backlash wouldn't have happened if the game treated their fanbase properly. Everyday we log in to this game because they made a system which forces us to do so, or get left behind, but even then, the rewards we get are lackluster at best. "Spend an hour each day and get 0.4 pulls from daily comissions and 1 pull from the events!" They made a system where we have to do menial tasks over and over again. "Fight these enemies 20 times to get the rewards for this event." Even in the most generous event yet, we have to collect 90 oculi and 120 chests, just to get a meager 5 pulls. People expected the anniversary to alleviate their pain from doing these everyday when nothing changed, and no endgame content was made for a whole year. When Mihoyo didn't deliver the drug, the painkiller, when they show that they do not even care to respond to thousands of people's dissatisfaction in and by 2.1, everyone just lost it and feel like there is nothing more to expect

  5. I agree with the burn out 100%.
I'm a casual player myself and when I was still playing the game, every time I wasted my Resin for the day only to get bad artifacts it made me rage quit by pressing alt+f4 immediately. This game gets my blood boiling when I'm usually chill playing other (even PvP) games, so yeah I'd say Genshin is bad for my mental health. It's funny how I came from Honkai Impact and was optimistic trying Genshin knowing it's made by Mihoyo only to get utterly disappointed by them.

There's a newly leaked Honkai Star Rail game hopefully managed by the Honkai team which I think is more consumer friendly but honestly I'm not gonna hold my breath.

  6. This whole thing was just a massive lesson in why communication with your playerbase is important. I'm willing to bet that if Mihoyo said "there will be more to come, stay tuned!" to their post when they revealed the anniversary rewards and the competitions and stuff, the backlash wouldn't have been this big. As it stands, the anniversary post made it seem like the daily login reward was the only thing we're getting, and people got really mad.

  7. "I love this game but oh boy, I hate how it is managed"

This ryt here, is a GEM! It is the essence of what we all feel but most of us end up blaming the wrong ppl. Stop harassing VAs and devs, they do their job well but management is sure a killjoy.

We need to learn to direct our dissappointed and dissatisfaction towards the ryt ppl.

  8. It's really frustrating the state it is. I am really frustrated on how they handle this and I feel that I cannot support them financially now since this is how they treat a customer and my money. It's so frustrating that I came from a game that is so much FOMO and everything is a chore to do, and now even here I felt that the grind is unbelievable. The down time is really bad in this game, the only time that I felt good is when farming those 3 days crystal chunks but even that felt so unfulfilling, and most of the time it's a drag for me now, felt like it's a chore than fun.

I can now see how fucking frustrating that console and PC is the second bitch to mobile that content like the golden apple archipelago and even the good events like the tower defense are temporary because one platform cannot handle the space. I was optimistic at first but when the golden archipelago come and go, it was really baffling now. I'm still gonna play this game but I will not support them financially how bad they run this.

  9. This video completely sums up my feelings towards Mihoyo. Genshin Impact is such a beautiful game run by sh**ty people. And to think they earned 2 billion dollars in their one year… 2 BILLION DOLLARS! They didn't even bother to give the players a proper anniversary event. I only have one message to Mihoyo… "The higher you are the harder you fall". They maybe enjoying their success right now while treating the players like sh*t but karma will surely come and for them I hope it comes soon.

  11. So i have a theory about people of Kheanriah (sorry for bad english)
As we already know , It is a land without any God
And they don't follow heavenly principles.
But what's the thing that exactly breaks heavenly principles
So, Basically as we know all the abyss monsters were actually People of Khanreiah , These monsters can use elemental powers without visions or Delusion like everyone do except obviously traveler .
So maybe the most of people of Kheanriah can use elemental powers without having visions in ancient time Like if u see Dainsleif he can use powers
Also as he said in the trailer before , We Humans Have Power From Beyond
People are using Element powers without using any visions granted by Celestia.
Celestia grant vision to only limted ones meaning applying their Rules(heavenly principles). That's why Ei (electro archon) want to seize all visions so to protect them from heavenly principles.
But people of Kheanriah are different they are breaking the law ,Hence the cataclysm.
    This is just a theory

  12. Thanks for making this video. It kinda feels good to know someone understands how you feel and is able to articulate it into words. Yeah I guess I stuck around genshin because I had hope that they'd listen and make the game better. But now I just regret ever spending money on it. But I guess I'm still hoping something good will happen eventually. Also, I really think they should remove the resin mechanic. Its so restrictive and just not fun.

  13. Agree with everything in this vid. I love Genshin and I am so excited everytime new lore is added, I really want to know how the story wraps up but I'm afraid with the way things are going the game is not going to survive until we reach the end of it. The communication is terrible and the way they handle things is NOT IT, they put 100% of the blame on people instead of analyzing what maybe they could change.
As you said, with leaks, a better communication would make the community less prone to depend on them. This whole anniversary thing with the bans and deleted comments, it just pushes us away. Even now that they said they have more things planned for anni THEY ARE STILL NOT TELLING US WHAT IT IS, and with this whole situation I think we are quite done with "surprises" for a while.
I never cared much about the rewards, it just never felt like an anniversary. and it just leaves a bad taste to not even receive an apology, just a big bandaid to sweep things under the rug. (Excuse any grammar mistakes)

  14. Sometimes, it's all about how everything was presented. Let's take all the rewards, plus the damage control compensation afterwards and put them together. Imagine, if before 9/28, we were told this: "Hi, travelers, to celebrate anniversary, the following would be given out: 20 rolls, 4 fragile resin, glider and lyre.

Certainly, that is still very average (by all standards in comparison) to celebrate an anniversary, but at least it would had been transparent and upfront. It's the lack of communication thus far that's ticking people off. But by doing the damage control rewards AFTER the 28th, broken up into 4 days, still with no apology over what happened……this is why even with the backpedal compensation, people are not going to be satisfied, because the whole thing felt insincere.

  15. its sad think community doing something right

at the end they caused all of this

    idk man
if genshin fandom didn't caused so much drama even harrashment to the VA's
mihoyo probably appreciate the community lil bit more

and now community just make it worse than before..
they stroming spam the 1* rate in playstore
even storming the other games too

its time to calm and cooling down the situation
they gives us some rewards finally
even the rewards should be in 30$ worth bundle

but its more rewarding than nothing.

  16. I got tired/bored and I stopped playing the game for a couple months (missing the lantern stuff through to the boat exploration stuff). Around when inazuma came out, I downloaded the game again and I made a commitment to myself to never do daily commissions, and never use resin, and just never do anything that feels like a daily chore. Now I also tend to completely ignore the events XD. I have so many story quests piled up (the quests with the characters + the hangouts) and as a more casual mobile player, I sometimes only play for 10-20 min at a time. Also when I'm doing a story quest, I hit the autoplay button and just relax and watch the dialog instead of skipping through. So at this point, Genshin to me is just watching anime and sitting back and occasionally having to fight some as part of the story.

Focusing on the story and detaching myself from everything related to a chore has made the game much more enjoyable to me.

I hope they bring back some of the old events and keep them forever so that I can also enjoy them in my own time (the same way you can watch anime episodes at your own rate)

  17. i remember when i first walked around mondstadt, it was so exciting seeing such a huge world. i didnt fight stormterror until i had food potions, and a fully maxed out razor lol. now im ar50 (still havent done ascension quest since like 3~4 months or so ago) and i log in, do commissions, do some of the event, maybe spend my resin if im not tired, and then log off. it used to be my favorite game but after this whole mess i think the crown goes back to slime rancher :p. it feels like the game is losing its heart and im worried its gonna turn into a waifu gacha game. im still gonna play the game until the end im sure but i never really have the time 4 it due to school anyways

  18. What a great video. Genshin has so much potential to be more than "just another mobile game," but its design philosophy and predatory monetization practices keep it from doing so. The greedy heads of mihoyo can go fuck themselves.

  19. Y'know every 6 weeks Mihoyo updates Genshin, and most of those updates are just temporarily. Instead of having new content every 6 weeks, why don't they just stop for a bit and focuse on refining their game??? Like, I know that they "promised" us updates every 6 weeks, however, if they're just going to give us updates that are just made half-assed and boring, I might as well have a HUGE bug patches and some primogems for compensation. Afterall, bug patches are considered as updates too.

  20. I wish there was less timed content. The game takes up enough time as it is just with dailies, expecting to constantly do limited time events on top just to not fall behind gets very tiring in a game you can't afk/semi-afk like in many other gachas.
