this is a really nice reference, It captures all important events and scenes so the story will make sense for those who don't know it.
I picked the brother and it's been quite the adventure. the game itself is like one giant filler that focuses on everyone else except the main character. And when the story does take time to talk about him the event is over as soon as it starts😅 but I'm sure you two will enjoy the story it's full of epic tales 👍
In the Beginning of Genshin everything is so shiny, bright and happy and later you realize the dark and insane lore poping up that was already always there all along, then you get your mind blown🔥💀
I love the cutscenes in this game, i'm all caught up in the game and they just keep getting better and better 😀
Looking forward to you guys leaving the v1 story portion of the game, thats when the story really picks up.
Also really hoping you guys get the events with this series. Some of those are important as they function as an introduction to some characters and elaboration on others.

they missed a dialogue between Lisa and Traveler so let me cover that for you two.
Basically Lisa asks about the Traveler, how his outfit and appearance is so different, and how he can channel the powers he has (the elemental powers: currently wind (anemo) power) without what's called a "vision". When the Traveler says he doesn't even know what that is, she proceeds to explain to him that it's like a keychain which is like a conduit to channel their power through, and is only granted to the "chosen". (infact u will see one in almost all playable characters' body dangling from somewhere in the costume. Easy to recognized cuz it glows slightly and has the symbol of that element). That's all u need to know about visions for now. They will tell u more later… And it is gonna be one hell of a ride.
