  1. About Beidou & Ningguang- I should have added more info. Anyways here are the details:
This comparison is not based on appearance only, but their personalities.

Beidou always denies that she gets along with Ningguang. However, Xiangling later reveals that Ningguang visits Beidou on her ship to play chess sometimes.
    >Beidou: Ugh, Ningguang… I am sick of hearing that name.

    >Beidou: Our tastes couldn't be more different. You'll never find us eating the same bowl of food.

    >Paimon: But last time when you were chatting with her, Paimon thought you two seemed to get along just fine.

    >Beidou: We're evenly matched. Guess that makes us equals. But I'm sorry, limp cabbage leaves are never gonna do it for me.

In the scene when Xiangling asks them their favorite food, the way Beidou falls for Ningguang's bait:

    >Ningguang: Should I take this to mean that you doubt the relative safety of leaving this in the hands of the Tianquan?

    >Beidou: Huh? Well, for starters, Keqing is the one who's always out running errands, rain or shine. Besides, you don't seem to give a wooden Mora about this whole thing anyway, so what's it to you!

    >Ningguang: I was merely joking. You, meanwhile, seem only too ready to pounce when an opportunity to publicly lambaste me arises,

Ningguang uses her smarts to tease Beidou, much like how Kaeya always picks on Diluc.
If you only consider the appearance, it is easy to misunderstand that Beidou is like Kaeya, but deep down it is the opposite; Ningguang is the one who's always picking on Beidou.

  2. This cutscene is a tribute to both Liyue’s and Chinese cultures (obviously because Liyue is based on China). Both are ancient lands with incredibly passionate people who love their ancestry and traditions, and it’s beautiful thing to experience.

  3. Bruhh… Ganyu is canonically neglecting her duties just to help me kill timmie's pigeons lmao

Also, I love the idea that Ningguang is a reincarnation of Guizhong. She will truly become the Geo mommy

  4. Ningguang being the form of Guizhong is sooooo like perfect tho
Like she is geo momma like guizhong being goddess of dust
    Its just perfect

(Plus for the shippers of Guizhong and Zhongli its a whole new chapter)

  5. Speculatively, I think Beidou has a much larger role to play. Her life and deeds share a few traits with Ei but.. Yae herself declared that Ei's rule could be defined as fear, and her introversion and seclusion. While Beidou is an extrovert who is defined by her bravery, loud boisterous personality and gathering of friends and crew. Perhaps if Makoto was reincarnated she may very well be Beidou.

And I really really hope Xinyan is "The Groudbreaker' Another title that was attributed to Rex Lapis and like Guoba; perhaps another god.

  6. I think that its still canon that paimon is the only character that travels with main protag in his/her journey throughout the 7 nations (most of the time). I feel like some of the dialogues in the character profile and also in the serenitea pot can be a "what if" situation so its technically not canon to the story.

  7. I quite disagree on the characters actually joining traveller part. Xiao having the same voiceline as when joining the party doesn't prove anything about it. Plus, if it's canon, then Qiqi can't die when battling/adventuring-

  8. A little correction: Keqing desire was NOT to eat her favorite dish. Her favorite dish is not the new corn-ball, but the shrimp roll. The new corn-ball was something her grandfather cooked and yes, she loves it, but is not her favorite food.

  9. Regarding the Traveler summoning characters to his party, maybe it's like the cutscene we got in the rematch against Raiden Ei. When Yae Miko showed up and told the Traveler about the ambitions he inherited from the Visions in the Statue of the Omnipresent God, we saw how the Visions lighted up, the people's ambitions resonated in the Traveler, even saw Teppei for a few split seconds. I think this is the Traveler's power to inherit or borrow other characters' Elemental Powers, which could be translated to the Gameplay mechanic of having a party of multiple characters. Therefore, the actual characters aren't actually joining or are present in whatever situation the Traveler is in and just their inherited "visions" (like, mental vision/projection)
