People keep calling Childe a flop for this wich is so odd.. like Ofcourse this mortal mid transformation will get clapped by the hydro dragon (if the leaks are true). I Love Childe but this was to be expected ๐
My conjecture is
Previous hydro archon is oceanid as oceanid doesn't like furina today and more inclined hate her because they believe she take their beloved ruler throne. Primordial sea is oceanid body or the form after previous hydro archon passed away or another possibility is the prev hydro archon is the spirit of primordial sea (kinda like tree of irminsul and nahida). All people in fontaine are born from primordial sea (has possibility they didn't die but return and rebirth again from primordial sea), because some unexplained thing (still not know what is it) the power of primordial sea is weakening and instead rebirthed the people who return (dissolve) into primordial sea, they really die. I bet previous hydro archon create fontaine just for furina as maybe both of them like parent and child as seen furina seems not very mature even compared to Nahida that doesn't know she and rukhadevata is the same person, especially for archon that rule based on justice. I bet the gnosis of hydro is used to make that machine

Something tells me childe is also involve with the disappearance case but is unaware at the time spent on Fontaine. Which led to the reasons why he still find guilty.
Neuvillette knocking Childe out will never not be one of my fav moments.
(Also, given how he talks about "humans" as if he is not one himself gives me more evidence that he is the hydro dragon. So…. Childe and the dragons huh?)

i somehow doubt that she's the archon, I think the chief justice is more likely the archon but It seems like its confirmed the furina is the archon

For those who don't know, Marcel/Vacher's character seems to be inspired by a real life 19th century serial killer Joseph Vacher the Frech Ripper.
Really Genshin's Vacher and Vigneire's story does prove that love does not always conquer all XD.
